The Color Of Water

I find this book to be very interresting.I really like the way how the auther wrote the book in two parts.He has the mother telling her life story and then her son telling about his life.Both the mother and son faces hardships throughout their lives.The mother Deborah Shilsky not only became a wido but a single mother of 12 children.the only problem was she was white and her kids were mulatto.The kids really had a hard time adjusting to their race.
