WHY ME?
When the day came I didn't think anyting was going to happen to me,but it did.I remember that day like it was yesterday.It was 10 years ago, October 20 1989.That day as I as I left my house to go to school, and as I crossed the street that's when it happened.The car jumped on the curb and knocked the living daylights out of me.I couldn'I believe it,The car threw me so far,it felt like I was a bird flying.I couldn't believe that I was just struck by a car.When I was in the ambulance, all I heard was horns and sirens,like it was a circus going on outside.

When I arrived at the hospital,I was so scared that something was going to be wrong with me.The doctors ran x-rays on me,and they was sticking needles in me like I was a Voodle doll.I really couldn't believe that nothing was wrong with me, with the exception of a few scratches on left hand.

I was so lucky that I wasn't really hurt,and I was able to go home the same day with a terrible headache.I was out of school for about a week and a half,and all of my class sent me hand made cards.I was a superstar for about two weeks ,and I was even in the newspaper.I'm just glad that I lived to tell this story.Amen.
