Filter

Filters are good all depending on the situation. The internet is opened to everything. Some of the things are not appropriate for school. I'm not too familiar with filtering on computers. Teachers can not all the time see every students computer.There is nothing wrong with being cautious. What if a student vists a site they shouldn't and things get out of control. At this time the school is to be held responsible. No one wants to be held responsible for someone eleses actions. Filters are to prevent that from happening.

Those who disagree with filtering are not being cautious. They underestimate the actions of others. You should always expect the unexpected. Although filters are not completely affective. My teachers says that they stop us from using things that can be used for a lesson. Instead of getting rid of filters they should just be updated. Make them to where they can block the materials that are not apropriate for school.

As you can see this is a very debative subject. Depending upon your point of view will help you decide on which you would argue. For filtering of against. I still would like to have filtering. So far we have done a lot in cyber english. Filters have not harmed us or stopped us from learning. Filters in our school has prevented a lot of the negative that can happen without them. I have argued my point now you can decide if you agree or disagree.
