I was transfered from a creative writing class to this class and since I came to this class till this very moment I have enjoyed every bite of it and have learned alot.My Teacher Mrs Mayo has taking her time to teach us how to create a webpage.She showed us the basic things about creating a webpage.She mainly wanted us to learn how to create a webpage in other to let other students in other school to see our work and learn from it. which is a very brillant idea.Other student from other school from my observation have not had the oportunity we have and because of this we want our works to be the best.
I would start by telling you some of the work I have done.The first work I did was myMy poetrywhich I wrote in my creative writing class and typed it into my webpage.My second work was My psalmWhich was the first work I did here.And you all know, what is a webpage with out An Autobiograpyso I wrote that too.After my Autobiograpy I deside to add some Pictures.
Those where the basic things we were to do before we started reading books and poerty writing by poets.One of the poetry I read was "Tableau" for donald duff writing by countee cullen. This poem was a beauty poem which talks about how the writer veiws black and white people together locked arm in arm.His main point was that both boys did not care what people say about them which is also telling us not to care what race a person is. Every body has a heart both black and white.The second poem called"Incident" for eric walrond writing by the same writer is also talking about what people think and say about black people.His main point in this poem was how the young black boy felt about what a white boy did to him.From what I read from the poem the black boy was really hurt.
We divided ourseleves into groups which we call social action groups and I was in a group fighting agains domestic abuse awareness for females which was a great success
We also read a book which can also link you to discrimination.This book is about a guy who got involved with both a woman and a man and at the end ended up with no one but himself.The name of the book is "Giovanni's Room"
Cyberenglish class compared to other English classes I Have taking reaches out to people all over.Both within and out of The united states.This is a great advantage to alot of people.In the cyberenglish class we use computers which I think really helps alot in writing essays.First of all it is easier in the sence that you don't have to rewrite an essay all over again.All you have to do is save your essay and correct it later on the computer.Secondly you get exposed to other essays on the computer which could help develop a new way of writing your essay and help you know what your essay is lacking.some of the things I like about cyberEnglish is that we learn more that an average English class.We learn both how to use and create a webpage and more about poetry, essay writing and so on.CyberEnglish is one of the greatest English classes I have ever attended but we all know that nothing is perfect.In cyberEnglish we really don't have much to change but if we could make at list one day out of a month to go out and inform people about our webpage by talking to them about what we do and hand out papers advertising our work.This would help us reach out to people and also help the people know more.
Over all I Fell proud of the works I have done because I know that I can now reach out to poeple.People can learn from me and I can also learn form people.I have done alot of thing in this class but the work I fill mostly proud of is my poem "yesterday" because my peom talks about alot of things.It talk about things alot of people keep to themselves when they miss somebody.In the beginning of all this I was suprised to see computers in an English classroom but when I got to know what we were going to do I felt more confortable and excited.Now I fell using computer in an English classroom is way better than an ordinary class with no computer.Also using the internet to do research is a very easy and covenient way of researching.I us yahoo searchto search for anything.It is An advantage because it is easy and straight forward.But sometimes the internet have wrong information.But I think it is a better way of searching.
I have gone far in this class and have learned alot from my loving teacher who has taking her time to help teacher us both Englih and how to create a webpage.I think A child that wants to learn would really appreciate the work she has done.As for me I thank her for increasing me knowledge and for taking her time to explain thing to me.Thank you very much.
Ok to get to the part of my grade I think it is teacher roll to determine what grade a child should get.But if you ask me I think that I should get what ever grade the teacher gives in other to know if I need to put in more effort or not.
