Welcome to my Family and Friends Pages! I hope you enjoy the story as well as the photo's. By the time you get through reading these pages, you'll probably know more about me and my family than you care to know..... (smile).....but I hope you enjoy them anyway.
Well, most of you know me as Jet, but my name is Jamie. I came up with the nick for the Internet, by no hidden motive, just my boring initials. The picture above is of myself and my oldest child, my son Ryan. For 10 years I was a single working mother, who lived in a small town in North Carolina and worked for the North Carolina Department of Corrections. I was raised in the small town that I ran back to after my divorce, and my parents still reside there. Yes, I'm a spoiled brat. No, I'm not an only child. I have an older brother, however I am the baby....(smile), I guess that would explain why I don't share well!
Steve and I were married on July 4th, 1998 and on July 5th, 1998, we began our long trip from North Carolina to Texas in a U-Haul. Talk about a romantic honeymoon.....LOL......but somewhere along the line it must have gotten to be very romantic as my second child was conceived during that trip. Our daughter, Joan, who is now 13 months old and will be some poor man's nightmare. She has learned early, this I promise.
Well, I hope all of you enjoy the pictures of our Wedding, as well as the pictures of our Family and Friends. It was a small Wedding just family and friends, yet a very happy day for Tex and I.
