Tips for Doll Beginers part II, Hair
1) When doing BRAIDS, this pattern is probably the best way to go. First, take your edited head and, starting at the neck, draw the braids. You can make them fat or skinny, it doesn't matter. draw them seprately, so that the very in size and look real.

2) At the top of the head, draw a line starting at the top of the left eye brow, until about the middle Leave a small gap for bangs. Repeat on the right side. In the gap, draw two (or one) bangs, ending in the middle of the eye's. Add side burns to both sides to give it a real effect.
3) Fill in. Fill in all the empty area's. At the top of the head, use a dark red, then a lighter red, until you reach the color that will be on all the hair. It's like the skin, dark, light, lighter.
4) On the color chart, find a color that is slightly lighter than  the every where hair color. (the every where hair color is the color you used the most) Starting on the braids, using airbrush, spray the hair farthest away form the head, make sure you leave some natural color. On the oppisite side from the side you just made lighter, find a color slightly DARKER than the natural hair color. Spray, with air brush, the side closes to the neck, and then the side farthest from the head. Leave natural hair color in betweeen. Add lighter a lighter color on the top of the head/Remove left over lines and shrink over larged ones....

BACK  or  SHADING
Do the same basic steps for diffrent hair styles, work darker to lighter. Think of your hair in the sun. The part in the shade is darker, and the part in the light is lighter. * REMEMBER, hair isn't flat, so throught in a wave or a curl now and then!
