One day I was awakened from my restful slumber by my niece, carrying a plastic sack, while calling my name and slapping me on the back. In the bag were a bunch of Transformers, some I had, some I didn't have, most incomplete. TM2 Cheetor was in the bag, and I already have one, so he's gettin' cut up. So on with the kitbash! Any questions or comments? You can Email Me , or sign my guestbook. Thanks!

hint hint...doesn't this just scream GARGOYLE to you?... hint hint :-)
'Fun with dremmel tools'
'*sob sob* aye ant alk ifout my feefe!'
The beast mode teeth were the first thing to go...
'Fun with dremmel tools continued...'
'AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHhhhhhhh.....'
Call me sick. Next I decided to forget the mammal-like jaw thing entirely, and cut off that entire area. His ears also had to go for a streamlined head.
'Hmmmm...something itches back there...'
Since this garage sale Cheetor came with neither his gun or his tail, I opted for a fixed, shorter tail, that plays into both modes.
'Yay, now I can finally talk again!'
Notice the beak structure forming here. I didn't want to do the traditional "bulldog/cat with wings" gargoyle because he's already a cat, and that's just too easy, even for my 1st alteration. I went with the more beaked "birdlike" gargoyle head. I had a hard time getting the beak shapes worked out perfectly, but a couple of simple shapes made the gargoyle head look rather nice in my opinion.
Added the wings on 10/22/00. I used the dremmel to cut them out of the side of a small $1.50 Rubbermade plastic box. It was tough cutting them out, and attaching them (I used molding epoxy to make a kind of structure to stick them in, which later hardened around them), but it turned out pretty much how I wanted. I was going for a more mechanical wing structure, not organic, so it would somewhat make sense in both modes. They may be a LITTLE hard to see since they're basically clear for now, but let's take a look...
the beast mode (it's starting to look very gargoyle-ish, isn't it?) ;-)
and the robot mode (not quite as much customization going on here, but I'll get to that)
