Grandma's Pancakes
2 cups Bisquick buttermilk baking mix 2 cups milk 2 eggs 1 T. vanilla
Heat serving plate in warm oven. Combine all ingredients with rotary beater or whisk. Grease 12" frying pan (non-stick makes these turn out more easily, although my grandma used a cast-iron pan and bacon grease) and place over medium heat. Ladle about 1/2 cup batter into pan, turning pan to coat bottom. Flip carefully when bubbles on top have all burst, and cook another minute. Place on serving plate and roll up.
Repeat with rest of batter. Serve with generous portions of butter, syrup, and love. |
