Photos of Madrid

		While we were studying abroad in Paris, my friend AnneLiese and I managed a couple of side trips to other parts of Europe. One of our visits was to Madrid, Spain, to visit our friend, Martin. This is a view of Plaza Mayor.
We were astounded how beautiful the city parks were, and how well they were kept. The Muslim influence on the architecture and art was very apparent throughout the city.
		The average city-streets were so clean, a very different experience from traveling the streets of Paris.
This is a view of the Palacio Real, which, oddly, reminded me of a giant wedding cake.
