LOST HOPE
I sit by my window and I can't believe what I see.
Too many people are dying in the streets.
Alone in a world which they feel is unfair.
Committing God's greatest sin is the one thing they dare.

Minds that are surrounded by The Clouds of Confusion.
They want to win but they only end up losing.
Feeling so frightened, feeling they're all alone.
Wandering aimlessly and lost of all hope.

No longer seeing the sun in the sky,
Their bodies no longer feel the happiness of life.
Hands that are clenched from minds that are distraught,
Their souls are crumbling under the burdens life has brought.

Secluding their thoughts they try to hold back their tears.
Hiding themselves from all that they fear.
Silently crying , quietly dying -
They've lost all hope so they just give up trying.
IS IT RAIN THAT FALLS?
The sun has decided to slip away,
Leaving behind clouds dark and gray.
There is a chill that fills the air,
A depiction of one in despair.

A heart wretched soul that is lost
From emotions being tossed.
Darkened roads offering no light
To the troubled one in their plight.

This is the time of forsaken desires,
Quenching the internal fires.
Have we lost another one
To where the light will never come?

Water falls from the sky.
Is it rain?, Or tears cried?,
From someone who has lost faith,
And needing guidance to happier days?

The darkness is here but it can not last.
It will soon become a thing of the past.
The light of the sun, the moon, the stars
Will overpower and destroy the dark.

Throughout that time and far beyond
I will help you to carry on.
Lean your troubled head on me
And let me be there lovingly.

Faith hasn't left you, it's still there.
Guiding you through this time of despair.
It has taken its guise in the form of me
To help you through your time of need.

When I see the rain fall from the sky
I know it is the tears you cry.
And I will be there with the sun
To make your days happier ones.
