This particular page and poem is dedicated to all of us Americans that experienced the tragedy that befell us on this day. All of us hurt in one way or another and our lives, our future, and our way of thinking has been forever changed. I want to send a special thank you and dedication to all of those who were in the mist of this, helping out. I, also, wish to dedicate this page and poem to my brother Mike, whose training and career field in the fire department and with The NYPD helped him to help others that very day. I am proud of you Mike. I am proud of all your comrades in every state. I am proud to say "I AM AN AMERICAN." I am proud of all of us that gathered together for each other. May we never forget our American Pride. |

SEPTEMBER 11, 2001 |
A mother stands by the shore filling the ocean with her tears. Her children gather around her as she subdues their fears. The Twins that once stood tall and proud as pillars of the place we call home, Are no longer standing amongst the crowd so now The Empress stands alone. The World Trade Center that we once looked upon with a wonderment in our eyes Has disappeared from the New York cityscape and vanished from our lives. With their disappearance something else has taken their place. Something seen in every American's eyes, something seen on every face. It's the sense of determination to express our American pride. It's something that's always been there but is now no longer being kept inside. The Dogs Of War tried to seperate the masses as they attacked them just for fun. But the only thing they accomplished was bringing this nation together as one. The sights that all of us saw that day will be forever etched in our minds. The Taliban thought they would ruin us but instead they made us unite. If you look up into the sky you'll see our Bald Eagle flying proud. It keeps an ever watchful eye as Old Glory waves to the crowd. From coast to coast and North to South we pulled together as one. This act of terrorism wil go down in history as one of the most horrific ever done. Let's say a prayer for those who lost their lives, let's give a cheer to those who came to help. May all of them find their place in Heaven while The Dogs Of War burn in Hell. To the firemen, policemen, and rescuers, to the civilians and donators of every kind, America extends a heartfelt "THANK YOU" for your donations of money, blood, and time. |
