| As is evident from the website you are visiting here I enjoy writing and photography. I never had much training in becoming a writer other than what you learn in school. It was something I did more as a hobby than anything else and it wasn't until a couple of years ago that I began to look upon it in a more serious manner. I still write for enjoyment first and foremost, it's just that I keep up with it with a bit more consistency. When I write I tend to write mostly of spoiled love, heartache, bad/ruined relationships. They, I believe, are always the easiest to write about for anyone. But as you look through this site you will find stories and poems and writings of all sorts of topics. I write with simplicity and straight-forwardness. There are no times where the reader will have to say "What is he talking about?" I was told by one person who read these poems that the wonderful thing about them is that "they are identifiable to anyone", meaning that anyone can read and know exactly where the author is coming from. A poem or story does not need to be fancy or complicated to be good. It just has to be understood and enjoyed by the reader. As I continue to create more writings I will post them here on this site so don't stop visitng. Most of all enjoy what is here. With the photography I have been doing that for quite a few years now and this is another thing that is a hobby turned serious with fun. I will be creating photo web-pages and having links to them. I will show my past photography as well as various shots of Long Island, my home. For a few quick facts about myself: I love the West and just about anything to do with it. I am a Capricorn with my birthday in January. I enjoy reading and the movies and learning about American History. I am well into my 30's and just enjoy having fun. I have a great likeness for nature and the outdoors and I love both the woods and the beach. I place a high value on true friends because they are the real measure of one's success and worth. Money can't even come close to it in comparison. Although I listen to most types of music my favorite type is still Classic Rock with my favorite band being THE ROLLING STONES. |
