In the Letter to the Romans, Paul tells us that nothing can separate us from God's Love. Through our decisions, however, we decide whether we accept that love. Take some time to review the decisions you made this week regarding your relationship with God. Be conscious of the ways you let God into your life, and be conscience of the ways that you ignore or are indifferent to God in your life. Write about ways that can help you have a stronger relationship with God.

This past week seemed to be a pretty good week between God and I. I started out the week by going to Mass and meeting Jesus through the Eucharist. I also heard God's voice through the Gospel of Luke. The other day, I felt myself accepting and experiencing the grace of God more than ever when my brother decided to throw around my Latin notecards. I was extremely upset, and normally would have done something in retaliation, but did not. For whatever reason, I just couldn't find it in myself to hurt him anymore. I picked up about 500 notecards and just moved on. I knew God was with me and that I had been accepting of His love and kindness towards others. When trying to think of how I offended or rejected God this week, nothing immediately pops into my head proving that I am so used to rejecting God, that I don't even realize it at the end of the week. But I seem to have an immediate response when it comes to the good things I did. Sins like lying have become more popular with me lately, and at the end of the week it seems to have no effect on me at all. I hope that eventually the things that jump out at me at the end of the week are the few sins or rejections of God, and not the many good deeds that I should be able to do. 1
