Society is so biased against Mr. Moms it's UNBELIEVABLE! I have NOTHING against single Mothers, and I can understand their struggles too! BUT, Mr. Moms struggles go beyond theirs!
WHY does a man have to prove the mother to be unfit in order to get custody, shouldn't the courts be concerned about who is the best parent?
If a couple split up and agree the kids are to live with Dad, and before court, Mom decides to change her mind, and TAKES the kids, Dad can't do anything! Shoe on the other foot, Dad's charged with KIDNAP!
I've tried to get local help COLLECTING child support. I always have to repeat myself. No one seems to believe what they're HEARING ... from a MAN!
I tried to enroll my son in SCHOOL! My son's mother DISAPPEARED, and I didn't have custody papers and, because of the law's perception of custody, and the time limits between suing, I had a 3 day struggle enrolling Mike in school! When I went to enroll Mike in school I was asked immediately for papers! I said the woman in front of me didn't have to supply any papers! And I was told about the school's policy about MEN enrolling children into school! MEN HAVE TO HAVE CUSTODY PAPERS TO ENROLL CHILDREN IN SCHOOL! WHY? I'll tell you WHY! Because society looks at divorce as, "That POOR woman!" And, "That S.O.B."!
