20090404: Anova Alpha v0.3 is here posted by 'Million Dollar' Mike
Our programmers have released Anova Alpha v0.3 today, which is the latest preview release of our upcoming Anova shell. This is the first version which is really suitable for mainstream use, and we will soon be releasing games and utilities for the shell. Features include autodetection of programs and icons, as well as a full GUI interface with mouse. Here is a screenshot:
The final version v1.0 should be out sometime this spring, and there will be a full lineup of games and programs ready to go for the release. The first round of game releases should be something in the next week as we update all of our old games to work with Anova. It won't be too hard, we just have to get around to making cool icons for everything.
20090321: New Game: Tug O War posted by 'Million Dollar' Mike
Today we have released a new game: Tug O War for the Ti83+/84+ platform. The game is compatible with MirageOS or can also be accessed from the main program menu. The reason it is not Anova compatible is because Anova is still in alpha and the filesystem may yet change. If you want Tug 'O War, you have to Click Here to download it, as I still have not made our program archives section yet. Which should also be coming soon. Hopefully.
20090319: Welcome to the new WCE posted by 'Million Dollar' Mike
Hello everybody, 'Million Dollar' Mike here bringing you the first update to the newly formed World Calculator Entertainment, or the WCE. We are a new programming group made up of old programmers from the glory days of the Ti-Community. Our staff includes Jake Dorhan, President and head programmer; 'Million Dollar' Mike (myself), Webmaster, Public Relations, and programmer; 'Hollywood Hulk' Kuhn, programmer; 'Bad Boy' Chucky Taylors, programmer; and Ron 'The Hitman' Plates, programmer. Right now there is not much to the site, but that will be changing very shortly. Later this evening or tomorrow we will be releasing Anova v0.2 and Drug Wars 2009 for the Ti-83+/Ti-84+, as well as new sections to the webpage. Also later this week, President and head programmer Jake Dorhan will be making an official announcment right here on our website, so stay tuned.
