This is a 168% upscale of another classic Estes kit from the 70's. The model is made from standard Estes parts with the nose cone being custom made from a BMS turning and my own additions of the side bulges.
The rocket flies on Estes D12-5, 24mm motors and recovers via a 24" Estes parachute. Typical altitude is around 500'. The decals were provided by Tom Prestia at Tango Papa Decals. Flights are very straight with no noticeable roll at all. This model makes a great addition to my vintage upscale fleet.
