I breed and exhibit a variety of pedigree cavies.
My favourite breed is the all Australian Sheba Mini Yak. They are the "bad hair day" pigs, having a long coat that reaches ground level with rosettes all over their body similar to an Abyssinian. This gives a tousled appearance. They are delightful characters, being inquisitive in the extreme.
I also breed Satin Buffs, Abyssinians, Satin Abyssinians, Texels, English Merinos, and Satin Shelties. I am dabbling in a few other breeds including Crested Gold/Lilac Argentes and American Crested Creams and Rex. I hope to be adding Blacks and Crested Blacks to my stud in the near future.
I enjoy showing my cavies at our regular shows. My daughter Eliza, who is 8 years old, has also joined me at the show table.
