Jr. Faith ‘06
We learned what it is to have faith, not geligious faith, but a belief and trust in not only people but all aspects of our lives. Aristotle’s Allegory of the Cave taught us man is ignorant to the truth about life, as well as Blind man and the Elephant better describes that we do not see the world from all views. Jesus says to follow the 10 commandments to be a good christian. I don’t believe he was the real massiah, merely just a great prophet that was crucified like millions of other Jewish people. Every man makes choices, these are based on bias, judgement, changing beliefs and that faith should lead all of our descisions. Eric Clapton used to do drugs, he was in a band called Cream, and was referred to as a God. He has been sober for the past several years, and has made no music. To be a rocking artist, you gotta rock the limit of ilegal drugs, it will get you fame, money, women, but some depressing thoughts.
What came first, the chicken or the egg?
I believe that it was the egg; my reasoning is that I believe that a lizard of sorts and a bird once mated, and over the years of eveolution and natural selection the chicken was perfected. Still today it grows bigger and stronger and able to produce more and more eggs. Without one, we wouldn’t have the other.
