One other little project that got completed during the week was the erection of this lovely garden swing. I had seen it in the garden center a week or so before my parents arrived and had shown it to them on one of our shopping trips. They bought it for me as an early birthday present and dad put it together while taking a break from hauling patio pavers!

It sits at an angle in the corner of the garden, on a pad of pavers and has a lovely view of the rest of the garden. Eventually, it will be surrounded by bushes and flowers.

And that completes the tour of my garden is it is at present. As you can see, we've laid out the bones of what I hope will be a pleasant garden for relaxing in.
