When      You're     Gone
Veronica Peacecraft VIX

When you're gone,I will be here
Just waiting for you to appear.
I'm unable to stop the tears,
That flowed because of my worst fear.
Zechs, are you gone or are you there?

When you're gone,I will not try
To believe that you had died.
                                                   I will not pry,
The memory of you from my mind.
But I will cry and cry.

When you're gone, I will be strong,
I'll admit that I'd thought wrong.
Because you'd been killed by that bomb
                                         I'm singing you a song.
Don't be away for to long.

As Noin said those last words of her newly written poem, a gunshot rang out. She felt something ripple through her skin. Then she saw a face, though her vision was blurry, she could tell that it had platinum blonde hair and icy blue eyes. "Zechs?" No answer. Noin smiled. She would join him soon. Darkness invaded her mind. Life was ebbing away from the small figure. Then she saw the gates of heaven. In heaven, she searched everywhere for Zechs. She found her dear family. They had a reunion. But no Zechs. That night she whispered, "I miss you Zechs. Where are you?" Her voice flowed out into the wind. "I'm right here, Noin. At an oak tree that looks like the one we met under. By the Golden River." The wind seemed to whisper back. Noin immediately set out next morning. And there he was. Just like the wind had told her. He hadn't seen her yet. She sneaked up behind him and heard him say, "I wish you were here with me Noin. I came to heaven after being blown up from that bomb and missed you so much when I came here. It reminded me of where we first met. I love you, Noin." The last bit surprised her but she was happy that it was true. She answered, "I love you too Zechs". Zechs turned around with shock. He saw her and gave her huge bear hug. They embraced. And were happy over the next years together. After 2 years in heaven came a wedding ring from Zechs. Then babies. One called Wind another called
Willow and the last called Brooke. Everything was right and everyone was happy. Noin told Zechs of a poem the she had written for him. "It's called: When  You're  Gone........."
