UN-DISCOVERED FEELINGS By: Veronica Peacecraft XIV I can't believe that Zechs agreed to go out on another date. He's been on 11 dates and it hasn't even been 1 month yet, thought Noin as she walked down the long hall in the Peacecraft mansion. I guess I better forget about asking him out to dinner. Besides, he would never go out with me. I’m not a princess or a lady at all. I only know him because we went to school together and know that the war's over, I'll never really be connected to him. It was exactly 1 year after the war had ended and Relena had asked Noin to be her bodyguard. Apart from Heero, of course. The ex-lieutenant smiled inwardly. They have feelings for each other, all right. And they had admitted that to each other right after the war had ended. The abrupt end of the war had been the cause of many changes. Zechs Marquise had become Milliardo Peacecraft, Lieutenant Noin had become Lucy and mobile dolls became outlawed. She sighed as she saw Zechs and his date walk out of Zechs's room. She hid herself in the shadows as the walked past her. Without showing any signs that she was there, she noticed. Even though Zechs was Milliardo now, Noin just couldn't get used to calling him that. Just like he couldn't get used to calling her Lucy. Noin had always been the name that escaped his lips when he talked to her. In truth she herself wasn't very fond of the name Lucy at all. So why was she allowing people to call her that? Was this a sign of weakness? In the distance she could hear Zechs whispering something...then the laughter. Female laughter. Noin could feel tears well up in her eyes, but she refused to let them fall as she rushed into her large room in the Peacecraft mansion. In the shadows Relena Peacecraft watched with worried eyes as muffled sobs were heard through the golden door. At the same time Zechs Marquise was sitting at a diner eyeing the menu and thinking: this is a waste of time. I could be in the gym working with Noin. With Noin. Those words echoed through his head. He wondered if she was OK with this dating stuff. Maybe…next time I'll ask her out. No, she will reject me. Someone like her deserves better. My hands are too stained with blood. Only idiots don't see that. Is that what I think of my dates? Then why do I even bother? This is SO boring. The next day Relena told her brother all that she had seen last night. Zechs nearly killed himself after she finished. He made up his mind: He was going to make Noin happy. No matter what. Even if it means facing the prospect of asking her out. The next minute Noin walked in. Looking like she always did. Uniform straight and polished. Back straight as her uniform and head held high. Zechs admired the way she held herself. Her goes nothing, thought Zechs. "Noin, how are you! Your eyes look a bit red. Have you been crying?" he said without thinking how much Noin hated anything that might mean her crying. OH NO!!!!! He thought as it smacked him in the head like thunder when he suddenly remembered. He winced slightly as she replied in a cold monotone voice" No, I have not been crying, Sir. But thank you for asking and putting me in a bad mood for the next couple of hours "Her face had turned a bit pale as she spoke. Relena, seeing this asked "Lucy, Are you a little bit sick? You look white and pale. Please if you are feeling unwell send Heero for now" Noin replied in a normal sounding voice "Thank you Majesty. I do feel a bit sick. Perhaps the flu." " Heero? I need you to take my place for the rests of the day. I'm feeling unwell." Noin said into her microphone as Zechs stood there silently cursing the blonde date last night. A vice that sounded like a telephone operator replied "I'm sorry Miss Noin I have a very important schedule today and it really can't be put aside. I'll send Alex over as my replacement." Noin smiled for the first time that day and said "Thank Very much, Heero." The next few minutes Zechs desperately tried to start a conversation but Noin participated with 5 words. This is hopeless! Zechs thought. I’m sorry Noin. Finally, Alex is here Noin thought as the rather good-looking honour guard walked in. But not as good looking as Zechs is.' Hey, there foxy Lucy! When I heard that you were sick I nearly chocked on my wine.", The deep voice of tall, brown haired, azure eyed Alex said. "To cheer you up a bit, why don't you and I go to the Rafe tomorrow for dinner? Unless you still don't feel well. But a hot lady like you is sure to recover from a small case of the cold. So what about the Rafe?" Noin froze not knowing what to say. Alex was handsome but she never really liked him. She'd always favoured Zechs but Zechs would never ask her out. Maybe it's time to move on. "Yes, of course I'll go out with you! "A surprised Noin heard herself say. "What time?" She barely listened to the arrangements. It's worth a shot. Zechs Marquise Couldn't believe his ears! Noin with Alex? He could only watch as his date with Noin flew out the window. SKIP THE DATE AND THE BORING STUFF. The day after The Date, Zech went to Noin room trying to fulfil his dream about telling Noin his feelings. "Noin?" He whispered as he opened the door to the dark room. "Noooiiiiiiiiiiinnnnnnnn? Where are you?" Noin froze when she heard someone call her name. Zechs. What was he doing here? In her mind she was very thankful. But ashamed. Why did he have to come when she was being raped?????? In her mind she remembered the dreaded memory. She was walking in her hallway when Alex jumped on her. Bound and gagged her and Dragged her to her room and made love to her forcefully. Help she said through her muffled mouth. Her arms were tied to the bed as were her feet. She was completely naked except for her underwear witch Alex hadn't taken off yet. Alex was fully dressed unlike Noin and was sucking her nipples and licking her breasts. At that moment Zechs turned on the light and nearly fainted, but instead took out his anger and jealousy on Alex as he flung him off Noin and threw him an his clothes out the door and firmly locked the door. "Oh Noin." he said as he untied her bounds and took the wad of material out of her mouth. Noin was crying by now and didn't move at all as Zechs held her close and said" Let's get you dressed Noin." Noin was extremely thankful as Zechs helped her put her bra on. While he did, his hands trailed over her breasts. Noin was embarrassed and had her back turned to him so that he couldn't see her breasts. Zechs just couldn't take it anymore. Dropping her bra, he admitted all his feelings. When he finished Noin responded with a full kiss in the mouth. Finally, they managed to put her bra on her but after a few sucks and kisses on her breasts. They broke apart because of embarrassment and got the rests of her clothes on her and the next week they were married. |
