Split Decisions Chapter 3: Mixed Thoughts ~The Kaisers POV~ I saw the hopeless Digidestined fighting my improved control spires. "I am superior." I said. I glanced at the next monitor over and my face softened. It was the camera in my Angel's room. Miyako. I turned my attention back to the battle. My Airdramon, Seadramon, Ivymon, and my Gizamon were clearly winning the battle. Something that never happened before. "Finally, they will surrender to me." If I tripled the power on these spires, the Digidestined would die, but I wouldn't kill them. Miyako would be sad. And I didn't want that. I'll let them keep their little useless lives, but I would continue to hurt them. And win the battles. Since everything was under control, I left the room, typing in a: "Throw them out of the Digital World, but don't kill them, make them De-digivolve, whatever, don't kill them." Pressing enter, I walked down into the cold, dark, hall-to my Angel's room. ~Miyako's POV~ Still in dream... "Who are you? Say something!" I called, nothing. Dark light and shadows began to surround me. "Help!" I yelled. But I felt in enclosing around me. Shaking with cold sweat I screwed, wriggling. Then the dream slowly ended, in cold, black, shadows, enveloping everything. Still shaking and shivering slightly. But I didn't wake up-yet. I could feel a icy, gloved hand press softly against my forehead. It was scary, and it gave me the slightest of the slight goose bumps, but I didn't wake up, just murmured un-traceable words softly. The hand felt-comforting in a way, I couldn't say. I felt something warm put on top of me, and then I slowly fell back into that luring slumber I didn't want to go back into. ~Kaiser's POV~ She was shivering. Worriedly, I pressed my gloved hand softly on her forehead. It felt cool-and normal. I frowned. She seemed to be relaxing a little. She must be cold. I thought. Quietly, I took off my cape and placed it, and tucked it in. Her shivering stopped almost instantly. Smiling, I just sat there, stroking that silky hair. This was a moment I wish would never end. Hours must've past by, but it seemed like seconds to me. My watch, a Digital one I put on my wrist, said 8:00 PM. It was Five 'o' Clock that last time I looked. I glanced at her, deciding she probably need more rest, I went out of the room, and began to do my next experiment-tripled power dark rings. ~Miyako's POV~ Tired, and weary, and still wanting to sleep just a little more, I woke up. First, everything was a blur, then things began to be more clear. The first thing I noticed was that I felt-clean. After all that under-ground digging, it was surprising, really. Underground...digging? Then it hit me. Where was I? I began to get more and more awake, until I could see things clearly. Not too clearly. My glasses weren't nearby. But since I only had around 200 Degrees in my lens, I could see pretty much OK without them. I noticed a thick, navy cap on top of the black, silk blanket. Looking at the golden embroideries on some parts of it, I realized it was the Kai-the Kaisers!? Oh my god...I thought. OH MY GOD. I quickly glanced below me, and saw myself wearing a simple, a purple sweat shirt, and a skirt, that went a little-bit above my knees. Oh my god. Did the ...... change me? No... I just sat there for awhile, just thinking, my thoughts were so mixed up... Why would the Kaiser give me a bed and things, even his cape too-I guess-keep me warm...? ~Kaiser's POV~ In my lab, still with a monitor to Miyako's room. I quickly glanced at the screen, so surprised. Miyako had woken up! I staggered a little. Then, I thought. If I just walked in there she might get spooked, she needs time to calm. Might as well let my little Digimon slave do that. "Floramon!" I called. I heard a rumbling, and lightl scurry, and saw the little useless Flower Digimon standing there. "Go into the room and take care of Miyako. Give her whatever she wants, except for one: leave this place, and two: contact the other Digidestined. Got that?" The Digimon's eyes glowed red. "Yes...Master..." Turning back onto my dark rings. I heard another scurry and rumbling out. My Miyako... ~Miyako's POV~ I was still sitting on the edge of the bed, when I heard a rumbling, and a scurrying sound. Is that the Kaiser wanting to kill me? I quickly stood up, but I was weak from not eating for some time, and still kind of drowsy, so I fell on the floor. I saw a cute, little Flower-like Digimon standing in the doorway, eyes glowing red. "Who are you?" I asked. The Digimon walked closer. " I am Floramon, sent from Master to obey." Obey? "Who is your Master?" Though I had a pretty good idea-I wanted to make sure. "The Digi Kaiser." Thought so. Then my heart fluttered. "Can-can I contact the other Digidestined, Floramon?" "No, Master said you could anything, but go out of his base, and contact the others." "Oh..." I said quietly. "Was it you who changed me?" "Yes." "Thank you, Floramon." "My job is to obey Master. If he says so, I must do." Floramon said, eyes glowing. "Where is your Master now?" I asked. "His...lab." "Can-no, no, is he?-no, well-no, where, when...-" Miyako was out of words. "Can I have some food?" She asked. She didn't know what else to ask, but... "Of course, what kind of food would you prefer?" "To tell you the truth, I don't know, do you know anything good you might want me to try?" Miyako asked kindly. Floramon's eyes sparked. "I shall ask my Master." "No-! Wha-? Wait-!" Miyako called softly. But Floramon had already left the room. "Floramon!" Oh, how did I get myself in such a mess!? I should've asked more questions first! I sat back on the bed and held his cape. I wrapped it around me and thought to myself. If the Kaiser was so mean, then why did he give me his cape supposedly to keep me warm? Floramon said he would give me food. He gave me clean clothes, he gave me a comfy bed. Maybe it was him who was stroking my hair, but would he really call my name? What about my dream? Miyako's thoughts drifted back the the scary, but comforting in an unknown ways, dream. Who was calling me? Was it?? Does he-Do I? Miyako thought. "Argh! This is so confusing." "What is confusing, my Miyako?" My-? I spun around, dropping the cape. "Ken-?!" "Call me the Digi Kaiser, Master, or Kaiser, whichever you prefer, but not Ken." "That name suits you better, you know." I stared at him straight in the eye. "Like Miyako does to me." The Kaiser laughed a little, walking closer. "I see your awake, and you can't decide on your first meal for the day." Miyako avoided his powerful glare now. "I asked Floramon for a suggestion." "So I know." "Why am I here, Ke-Kaiser? Why didn't you take Hikari, or Daisuke or..." He had already walked to the position he was standing right in front of her. He put his hand on her chin, making her mind spin, and he tilted it up gently, so they were looking eye-to-eye(his eyes were behind the shades). "Why? Why, would I choose Hikari or Daisuke? I did not capture you here to find out your groups plans, secrets, and the other old and new Digidestined. No." He looked into her eyes again. "For another reason." I could feel his eyes, behind the shades, boring into mine. "What is the reason?" "You'll see-soon enough, my Miyako." He kneeled down so they were almost the same height. Will her sitting of course. "What do you want to eat, you need your energy." "I don't know-maybe you can recommend something?" I asked hopefully. If I chose something, it would seem as if I were greedy. "Very well..." He bent forward and picked up the cape, and he slipped it around m, latching up the small Digital World Version of a button, and he gently, ever so gently, gave me a soft kiss on my cheek. Blushing like mad, I was. "I'll have Floramon bring up your meal." "Wait!" I called. He stopped, and turned around. "Oh...thanks...Kaiser, for...this and that, and that and this and..." I stopped. "And that..." I gestured toward the cape. He smiled a little, I think. And he walked away. I sighed softly. Half in disappointment, and half in relief. Does he really like me? Is he...does he... do I? |
