Chapter three NOTE: in this chapter I’m going to use Japanese name instead, I’m not sure if I spell the names right…haha…I hate spelling. And thanks to my friend Pauline who helped me with this chapter. ********************************************************************* “ Listen up everyone! We are almost there, so get ready, don’t forget anything on the bus.” Ms. Anderson said. “Mmm… huh…?” Miyako’s waking up, “ Wha…t Are we there yet?”  She asked, and used her hand rub her eye. “ Almost…did you sleep well?” Ken replied. “ Huh…?” She looked up finding out who’s talking. “ Ah…! Ken!?” just realized that she’s still in his chest. She pushed herself away from Ken and blushed. “Sorry, for fall sleep that like, I didn’t mean to…” “ It’s ok Miyako, no need to worry.” Miyako cut off by Ken. ‘Why did she has that reaction when she find out she was fall asleep in my chest? She pushed herself away, maybe she doesn’t like me… not after what I’ve done.’ Ken thought felt sad and remembered the movie he just watched, ‘ Will I end up the same way as that girl did?’ stared at Miyako who stared him back, ‘ Why didn’t he push me away when I fall asleep? Maybe he does like me… NO! Where did you get that stupid idea from Miyako?! Ken Ichijouji likes you? Yeah right! He would never like me!’ Miyako thought. There was a period of silence between them, none of them is moving or talking, they just staring at each other in their own thought. The silence was broke by Ms. Anderson’s voice, “ OK! We are here now, take your stuff, and let’s get moving.” The teacher yelled and students stood up from their seat, reached up to get their stuff. “ Here, your bag Miyako.” Ken passed Miyako’s bag to her. “ Thank you, Ken.” She blushed as she took her bag from Ken’s hand. Meanwhile on Daisuke’s bus… “ Hey Hikari let me help you getting your bag.” Takeru said. “ Oh thank you…Ta…” Hikari didn’t finish her sentence, because Daisuke has already pushed Takeru aside. “ Let me help you Hikari. After all, I’m your boyfriend.” Daisuke said and grin at her. Hikari with a sweatdrop coming down from her head, “ Actually Daisuke… you are not really my boy friend, and I’m not your girlfriend, alright? Is it just so hard to understand, or is it that I don’t speak the same language as you do?” Hikari asked then turned her head to Tayato, “ Tayato, would you please get my bag for me?” Hikari asked with a cute smile on her face. “ Sure!” “ HAHA! Right in your face goggle boy!” Takeru laughed at Daisuke. “Shut up T.A.!” Daisuke yelled back. Hikari ignored them and got off the bus with her stuff, followed behind her was Tayato, Daisuke and Takeru looked him angrily, “ That boy is trying to make a move on my girl.” Takeru said. “ You mean MY girl!” Daisuke corrected him. “ Ok! Whatever! Now we have to think of a way to get that stupid boy away from Hikari, or none of us is getting Hikari!” Takeru said. “ Yeah… but how?” Daisuke agreed. “ We should teach him a lesson!” “ Yeah!” an evil smile appeared on both of their faces. ********************************************************************* “ Hey, look it’s Miyako and Ken.” Hikari said to Daisuke and Takeru. “ And over there is Iori.” Daisuke replied. “ Hey guys.” Ken and Miyako walked toward them. “ So… Ken… did you guys have fun on the bus?” Daisuke asked “ Oh… not really, Miyako fell asleep on the bus, and the movie was ok… but it made a lot of people cried.” Answered Ken. “ Speaking of which, the movie we saw was so funny.” Daisuke said. “ Yeah… and Daisuke laughed out lot like an idiot, and everyone was looking at him.” “ Hey! T.O.! You don’t have to tell every one that! It’s not my fault the movie was too funny I can’t control it!”  Daisuke yelled at Takeru. “ Hey guys,” Iori walked over “ This place is hot! Aren’t you guys feeling hot?” He asked. “ Yeah…now you mentioned it, I do feel hot.” Daisuke replied. “ I’m sweating already.” Hikari said as she reached her hand up to her forehead wiped off her sweat drops. “ Here Hikari, use my handkerchief.” Takeru said as he gave Hikari he’s handkerchief. “ NO! Use mine Hikari, mine is cleaner than his!” Daisuke pushed Takeru aside and gave her his handkerchief. “ Who said so? Goggle boy?!” Takeru yelled. “ I said so! See, mine is white! So it’s cleaner than yours! TV!” Daisuke yelled back. “ Um… actually… guys…” Hikari trying to talk to them, but no one listened they just kept yelling. “ Oh yeah?! My handkerchief is special! Hikari gave to me on my last birthday!” “ Mine is special too! Hikari gave to me on my last birthday as well!” “ Um…guys..” Kari tried to stop the argument. “ Then, let’s try rock paper scissors to decide!” Daisuke said. “ WOULD YOU GUYS STOP AND LISTEN TO ME!?” Hikari yelled out to stop the fight. “ I just wanted to tell you guys that I have my own! But none of you two were listening!” Hikari then took out her own handkerchief from her purse. Miyako giggled as she watched what was happening, Ken who stood beside her, stared at the giggling girl. Miyako seemed to notice that Ken was stare at her. She faced Ken, “ What’s wrong Ken? Is there something on my face?” Miyako asked. “ Oh, no, nothing.” Ken replied, gave her a cute smile then turned his head away from Miyako as he blushed. Miyako’s heart skipped a beat, her face suddenly turned as red as a cherry. “ Alright class! We are not exactly there yet, but we are close. We have to climb up to that mountain and settle there, we can’t get there by bus so we have to walk to there, if we are fast, we should be get there by end of the day.” Ms. Anderson said. “ THAT MOUNTAIN!!??? Are they trying to kill us or what? What if we slip during climbing?” Daisuke asked in surprised. “ Don’t even think about that Daisuke! And don’t say that, you are a big mouth don’t you know that?” Takeru said. “Zip it TI! I’m not asking you anyway!” Daisuke yelled back. “ Ok now, grade 8 campers come with me!” Ms. Anderson yelled. “ Ok, we have to go separate ways.” Ken said “ See you guys later at the mountain.” Miyako said. “ Ok see ya!” all of them replied. The mountain was really high and dangerous, and it was hard to climb too. Miyako was behind Ken, “Here Miyako, take my hand.” Ken has made there first he reaches out his hand to Miyako who was still climbing but almost there she grabbed his hand and finally made it to the top of the mountain. It was a field, a huge one with grass all over it surrounding by trees actually woods. Soon the rest of the students and other grades students climbed up. “ OK! We are going to settle here, grade six campers settle in right area, grade seven campers settle in middle area, and the grade eight campers settle in the left area, you can start set up your tent now.” The teacher ordered. “ Do you need a hand Miyako?” Ken finished setting up his tent and walked to Miyako who seemed having trouble with her tent. “Yeah, thank you Ken.” Miyako replied. “ No problem.” Ken said gave her a charming smile. Miyako blushed a little, and smiled back. “ Hey, Miyako! Ken!” Hikari walked over with Takeru and Daisuke on both side and Iori followed behind. “ Would you two stop the that? Aren’t you guys feeling uncomfortable for doing that all the time?” Asked Daisuke “ What you mean by ‘ doing that all the time’?” Ken asked “You know… whenever you looked or smiled at Miyako, she blushed like a tomato, and when she doing the same thing to you, you blush just as same as she was.” Daisuke replied Ken’s question. Both Ken and Miyako looked at each other and blushed. “ Be quiet Daisuke!” Said Takeru “ Why, man even me can’t stand it anymore, I don’t understand how could Miyako keep it as a secret for this long time.” He stopped for a sec then continued, “ Why don’t you just tell him Miyako? It’s about time.” “ Tell him what? I don’t understand what are you talking about.” Miyako blushed more. Trying to pretend that she doesn’t understand. “Stop it Daisuke! You big mouth!” Takeru yelled at him “ Zip it TQ!” Daisuke yelled. “ What else? Tell him you like him.” Daisuke answered. Ken shocked, couldn’t believe what he just heard! And stared at Miyako who’s blushing like a mad. Miyako turned and ran into the woods. ‘ I can’t believe Daisuke! How could he!? He big mouth!’ She thought as she ran in the woods. Ken ran after her immediately, “ Wait Miyako!” Miyako ran faster when she heard Ken’s voice. “ Wait! I need to talk to you!” He finally caught up with her and grabbed her arm not letting Miyako run away… Ok! That’s chapter 3! It was short… I know that.
