As Jax carried Chloe into the penthouse, they were greeted by Ned and Alexis. Jax gently placed her on the couch and reached for the champagne.

"What are we going to do about the marriages?" Alexis asked.

For the first time Chloe spoke of the situation by saying grimly but with a sense of sadness "It's stupid to stay married. We should just get divorces since I can't run Chloe Morgan Designs anymore."

As much as they didn't want to face Chloe's blindness, they knew it was true. They nodded. Jax then poured the champagne and tried to ignore the fact of how crushed Chloe was about not designing anymore.

"Chloe, we have a surprise for you." Ned smiled.

"Chloe!" A little girl screamed. "Chloe! Chloe!"

Chloe grinned. "Is that you Brooke Lynn?"

The little girl ran into Chloe's arms and hugged her tightly. Jax, Ned, and Alexis smiled at Chloe's happiness. Maybe, just maybe, Chloe would survive being blind. At least they would all hope so.
