It was a cold February day in Port Charles N.Y. All Jasper Jax could think about was the love of his life, Chloe Morgan. One week ago she had been hit by a car while crossing the street. He had not left her bedside at General Hospital. He thought about how he never told her he loved her. As he watched Chloe he thought about how he never got the chance to say he loved her. Jax didn't think he could handle that if she died it made him wish it was him instead of her.

He was so distracted by his thoughts that he didn't hear Chloe's husband (by name only) Ned Ashton walk in.

"Hi." Jax whispered.

"She will make it." Ned replied.

"Keep reminding me of that." Jax responded."

"Sure." was all Ned could say. He was so worried about losing her, everyone was. Ned could not name a single person in P.C. who disliked Chloe.

That afternoon, Jax was again alone in Chloe's room telling her about how they will grow old together, when he saw her eyes flutter. "Chloe," Jax exclaimed. She heard a whispered Jax. "Chloe I'm here can you hear me?"

"Jax I can't see." was her response.

All he could do was stare at her as she started to cry. He reached out and held her in his arms promising it would be would be okay. "Chloe, do you remember the accident?" he asked.

She can only nod.

Dr. Tony Jones heard commotion in the room as did Ned and Alexis Davis Jax's wife (by name only) The three eagerly rushed into the room thinking Chloe would respond to them but she just stared at the door.

"Chloe, can you hear me?" Tony asked.

"Yes," she whispered, "but I can't see. I remember the car coming and then I remember waking up in Jax's arms."

Tony just nodded and took tests of her eyes. He told Chloe to get some rest and went to look at the test results.

All Chloe could do was hope that the tests results would say her sight would return. Ned, Alexis, and Jax stayed with her while she waited for the results to come back.
