The majority of the fans will be girls, since the heroes are all women. Of course, older viewers may need to watch it too, in case they need to plan on working on live shows in their region. It will mostly be at amusement parks where the show is free with paid admission during the summer months, when kids are off school.
In order for a live on stage show to work, you need several elements.
You need a certain number of Caucasin women, slim built, aged 16-25, to fit the roles of the characters of the Pretty Cure heroines.
You need at least two performers to play the villian roles. A least one of those villians will be male and the other is a masked Nightmare.
A script is needed, as well as rehearsing the lines so they will know what to say when they do the show in front of the audience. The script should be long enough to have the performance last for around 20-30 minutes in length.
The selected women must have good agility. This means that they must have good high kick motions, and can learn to cartwheel. The performer that does Cure Aqua may need to do a backflip to amuse the crowd.
A costume designer is needed to create the wardrobe for the characters. Wigs may also be needed for the heroines, since some will have colors that are not natural hair colors.
Microphones might also be needed so the audience will know what they are saying. Whether it is a mic to hold, or a mic attachment on their wardrobe. You need to let the audience hear on what the performers are saying.
Sound effects and theme music may be needed for the action "fight" scenes. Of course the fights will be gentle with fake, minimal contact, with the sounds of punches and kicks. There is usually a sound booth where all those sounds can be played and the theme music as well.
Interacting with the fans after the show can also be a good thing, because the kids will love the performers since a costume can make a young fan smile...with hugs too. Whether it's a signature or even have a photograph taken, it will be a wonderful experience for the fans.
In Japan, the Pretty Cure series has been a hit anime for young viewers, where the majority of the audiences are from the young girls. They have done live on stage shows over there featuring the Pretty Cure heros and some villains as well. All voices heard were recorded for show purposes.
