The film is about a young girl who doesn't want to grow up. She surrounds herself with childish things.
She always wishes she is in a fanasty world. The young girl is called Sarah and after a day out dreaming of a fanasty world she comes back to be told by her father and Step Mother that she must baby sit her baby brother Toby. She is sick of this and in a childish story she says something that see is later to regret. She wishes her brother away Jareth the Goblin King comes to see her and she pleas for mercy he
says she has to get to his castle in order to get her brother
back. The trouble is she has to make her way though
THE LABYRINTH
to get there. She makes her journey thought the Labyrinth making friends along the way and when she gets to the castle to get Toby she has done a lot of growing up. He rescues Toby just at the right time before 12 and is home just as her father and step mother get home.
