They were low on supplies; the warp core was in need of an over haul; and they had not had an occasion for shore leave in almost eight months, so the Captain decided to land voyager on the next suitable M class planet they came across. It took three weeks and countless arguments, with an overextended senior staff, but she finally decided the proper location.
According to their information, Belkinta, a smallM class, had a southern continent, which was privately owned. The original owner had passed away years ago and since his heirs showed little interest, it was now run by the neighboring government and was a favorite resting spot for travelers like themselves. After only a brief negotiation with the Altec representatives, Voyager was given permission to use the facilities indefinitely. Harry had no trouble locating the large open landing area and Tom gently set Voyager down.
The planet was lush and green. Two suns fought for control of the planet and three moons orbited it. The deep blue rivers ran old and clear into the ocean. The structures on the surface were a curious mix of old and new and were kept in excellent repair. There were replicators in the kitchens and fireplaces in the outer rooms, some had private sleeping quarters and others were arranged openly. At one end of the landing area there were three sided sleeping compartments arranged in a circular pattern around a large fire pit. The fire pit quickly became a nightly gathering spot, even for those, like the Captain and Commander, who chose more conventional accommodations.
The crew used the first day to acquaint themselves with their temporary environment and settle in to the housing of their choice. The Captain chose a small cottage with an old fashioned porch located in the center of a grove of pine like trees, on the far end of the landing strip. It was secluded and yet could be reached from the fire area by a loud yell. The cottage had one large room that served as both sitting area and kitchen, a sleeping area that was only slightly larger than the monstrous it bed housed and a small bathroom. A tiny fireplace and a modern replicator contrasted each other in the limited space. The bathroom held only a toilet and water shower; the sink was located in the kitchen and the tub was non-existent. In spite of this almost fatal flaw, the Captain was immediately in love and insisted she stay there.
B’Elanna and Tom opted for the lean-to next to Harry, which he was presently trying to convince Celes was far better than the carpeted, environmentally controlled bedroom suite in the main house she had her heart set on. Sam and Naomi chose rooms in the main house; coincidentally Joe Carey wound up there also. Seven argued to remain on Voyager in her regeneration chamber, but settled for a room in the house when the Captain explained that the power on Voyager would remain off except for necessary repair areas for the duration of their stay. A temporary regeneration unit was set up in her bedroom. Tuvok found a one-room structure attached to the mountainside that suited his needs perfectly. It was private and quiet allowed for undisturbed mediation. The rest of the crew settled into various locations without problems. Neelix used the kitchen at the main house to prepare meals and the large verandah as a mess hall.
Since the transporters were the first of many systems shut down, many of the crew spent the morning carrying their belongings to their various new homes. A growing source of amusement was the running count on how many trips the Commander made to the Captain’s new cottage. By lunch time the ‘lean-to community’ was settle around their fire pit enjoying lunch and watching the commander struggle with yet another load for the cottage. The Captain carried their lunch in a basket beside him.
“Kathryn, tell me again why you need all this stuff?”
“I have to be prepared, Chakotay. We will be here for at least a month.” His sigh was loud enough to cause a chuckle among the watchers. “I can do it myself, Chakotay. No one ordered you to help me.”
“I’m not sure this place is big enough for you, Kathryn. How do you get all this in your quarters?”
“I don’t, some of it I keep in my ready room and..” She lowered her voice and turned away from him. “in yours”
“You store stuff in my office?” He tried to sound surprised and indignant.
“No, Silly, in your quarters.” She laughed and ran ahead to the cottage.
Shaking his head, Chakotay chuckled and disappeared behind the tree line.
“It’s funny to see them like this.” Celes poked at the fire.
“Yeah, but it’s good. They don’t usually relax much, especially where we can see them.” Harry made himself comfortable.
“Hey, where is Chakotay staying?” Tom searched their faces for answers and got only shrugs. “Interesting, I haven’t heard him say.”
“Tom, don’t you dare!” B’Elanna glared at him.
“We’re all friends here. I just asked.”
“Just see you don’t do something stupid like ask anyone else.”
“B’E have a little faith.” Tom feigned innocence and B’Elanna rolled her eyes.
After spending the afternoon settling the captain in, the command team had dinner on the verandah of the main house with most of the crew. They weren’t sure if it was the open air dining, the relaxed atmosphere or an actual improvement in the food, but they truly enjoyed the meal. It was a lovely clear night and they decided on a stroll after dinner, which brought them back to the fire pit just in time for coffee.
“Captain, Commander, join us.” Celes called as they approached.
“Hi, how’s the new home?” Kathryn asked as she came closer to the fire. “Umm, got a little chilly, I didn’t realize until I felt this.” She warmed her hands over the fire.
“Nice and snug here. We’re happy. You?” Tom winced at the kick B’Elanna gave him.
“The cottage is very nice, thank you.”
“Captain, some coffee?” Celes held out a cup.
“You had to ask?” Chakotay laughed as he and Kathryn settled next to the fire.
“New kid in town, ya know?” Harry shrugged.
“Thanks, Celes. Don’t pay any attention to them.” Kathryn took a seat on the ground. “B’Elanna, we have a lot of work to do, but I don’t want you overdoing it.”
“B’E? Overdo it?!” Tom ducked the punch B’Elanna threw his way. “Where would you get an idea like that, Captain?”
“There’s a lot to do, Captain.”
“I know, B’Elanna, and when we leave here I want the ship in top shape, but I want the crew well rested also.” She sipped her coffee, trying to ignore the smirk on the face of the man sitting next to her.
“Does that directive apply to the Captain also?” Chakotay was the only one brave enough to voice the question.
“Yes, as a matter of fact it does. We are fortunate to have such a beautiful place to land and complete repairs. We should not miss this opportunity to get the crew back in top shape, too.”
“How long are we staying, Captain?” Celes asked the next logical question and everyone waited for an answer.
“Well, we discussed needing a month, but if we need longer than we'll take it.” She put her cup on a rock and leaned closer to the fire. “I’m inclined not to rush this stop. I think we all need a break.”
“Do we run regular shifts?”
“I think we run Alpha shift and maybe Beta, but no need to work round the clock. We could even run each shift a little shorter. With enough people it should allow each of us a good deal of free time. We can discuss it further in the morning meeting.”
“Not much for me to do anyway; don’t need your top pilot when she’s on the ground.” Tom stretched out putting his head in B’Elanna’s lap.
“I’ve got work for you to do, Flyboy, have no fear.” B’Elanna threatened.
“Yes, B’Elanna, cleaning the plasma manifolds comes to mind. What do you think?.”
“Sounds good to me, Captain.” B’Elanna smacked Tom’s head. “See, Flyboy, she’s on my side.”
“More coffee, Captain?”
“Thanks, Celes, but I think I’ll head home. See you all tomorrow.” She stood and offered a hand to the Commander. “Come on, Chakotay. Since you spent your day setting up my place, I guess the least I can do is offer you my couch.”
“Guess that’s good night, guys.” He chuckled and took her hand.
“Ahh, yeah, night, Chak.” B’Elanna found her voice first. “Night, Captain”
The others found their voices long enough to say goodnight, but couldn’t help but stare open mouthed when Kathryn continued to hold his hand until they disappeared behind the pines.
“Well, what do you make of that?!” Tom, slapped Harry on the back.
“Nothing. She only offered him her couch.” Harry tried to sound like he believed it.
“God, Harry, even I’m not that naïve!”
Celes rolled her eyes.
The covered porch on the cottage was large enough to shelter several chairs and a swing just wide enough for two. It was a chilly but clear night and the three moons glowed brightly in the sky and the air was still and sweet with the sent pine.
“Want to stay out here for a while?” Chakotay took a deep breath of the cool night air. “So nice to breathe fresh air for a change.”
“Ummm, I think we all have cabin fever. That’s why I think we need to extend out stay here.”
“Yes, seven years in space in a long time. It’s time for a break.” He sat on the swing, moving to one side to give her room.
“I think I’d like a glass of wine. Want something while I’m in there?”
“Sounds good.” He watched her shiver. “Better grab a blanket if you’re going to stay out here.”
“I will.”
Kathryn ducked inside; he heard her order the wine from the replicator and move toward the bedroom for a blanket. Just as he wondered what was taking her so long, she came through the screen door, a glass of wine in each hand and a blanket over her shoulder.
“Thought you got lost.”
“Not that easy to get rid of me. Stand up.” He stood up and she handed him the wine and spread the blanket over the swing. “There. Now we can share.”
He sat back down, careful not to spill the wine. She curled up next to him and pulled the blanket around them before she took her glass from him.
“Can’t do this on a starship.” She sipped her wine.
“You really do have cabin fever.” He slipped his arm around her shoulder.
“Yes, I’m afraid I do.” She leaned her head on his shoulder. “You’ll have to push me if I try to over extend our stay here.”
“This isn't like you. I though space was in your blood.”
“It is. But sometimes a person needs solid ground beneath her feet. Guess I’ve been overcome by the urge to settle down.”
“Does that explain the ‘come sleep on my couch’ remark? You know Paris won’t let that slide by.”
“How else were you going to get away? I would be cold out here all by myself. Anyway, they must have noticed you didn’t choose new quarters.” She laughed. “Besides, I have to keep Paris on his toes.”
“They will eventually ask you know.”
“You can always say you have grown overly fond of my couch.”
“Yeah, Kathryn, that thing is two feet shorter than I am.”
“So, you like to curl up when you sleep.”
“No, Kathryn, YOU like to curl up when you sleep; I like to stretch out.”
“So picky; I knew it was one of us.” She stretched out her legs. “Come on, it’s getting too chilly out here.”
“Planets do that, Kathryn; no environmental controls.” He laughed; taking the glasses and letting her bring in the blanket.
“Ummm, one point for the starship.”
On her way into the cabin she dropped the blanket on the couch, which already had a sheet and a pillow.
“Just who do you think is going to sleep there?”
“You. Well, at least that’s what I hope Paris thinks when he checks up on us.”
“Don’t you think he will notice I’m not there?”
“Come on, even Paris doesn’t have the nerve to check up on us when were here. Well, not without the aid of a computer.” She rumpled the pillow and blanket, while he put the glasses in the sink. “I figure he will check as soon as he sees us go to breakfast.”
Chakotay walked up behind her wrapping his arms around her and pulling her back against his chest.
“What if..” He nibbled on her neck. “What if he peeks in the window?”
“Right now?” She leaned into him tilting her head to further expose her neck.
“Ummm.” One hand spread across her belly to hold her in place, the other cupped her breast, squeezing the nipple through her blouse. “Right now. What if he looked in and saw us like this?”
“Then..” Kathryn moaned as his hand slipped between her legs. “Then some one might be embarrassed.” She pushed back against him. “But it won’t be me.”
“Oh really? I can picture you turning pink every time you see him.”
“Damn this fair skin!”
“Don’t say that. I love this fair skin.” Kissing her neck, he made fast work of the fasteners on her blouse, pushing it off her shoulders and tossing it on the couch. “I love the contrast; my dark hands against the delicate white skin of your breasts.”
He released the front clasp, leaning over her shoulder to watch as his golden fingers stroked across the ivory mounds. Arching slightly, Kathryn moaned as his fingers rolled a dusky nipple; his tongue danced across that tender spot behind her ear. Slowly, she turned in his arms, stretching up to capture his mouth as she began to open the buttons of his shirt.
“This..” She stepped back just enough to run her hands down his newly exposed chest. “is the contrast I love.” She studied the pale fingers as they traced the line of each muscle. “This golden skin is so delicious.” Leaning forward, she pressed her lips to his neck, spreading moist kisses along the same path her fingers had taken. “So sweet.” She sucked, gently nipping his nipple as her fingers sought to free him from his trousers.
Chakotay could feel the racing of his own heart as her fingers worked the fasteners, then her hands as they glided over his hips and slid hid pants down. As she licked and sucked her way down his stomach, he buried his hands in her hair panting, anticipating the feel of her hot mouth on his already swollen manhood. Kathryn was on her knees, helping him to step out of his trousers as she nuzzled her nose in the coarse hairs. His fingers tangled in her hair as her warm breath blew across him forcing a deep moan. She breathed deeply of the strong musky scent that was uniquely his, then stretched her tongue out to lightly lick the sweet salty nectar of him. His hips instinctively rocked, thrusting gently when she turned to take him fully into her mouth. Chakotay groaned as she surrounded him with the moist velvet heat of her mouth, her tongue and teeth working in unison, driving him to the edge.
“Kathryn..” A harsh whisper, a plea. As his control weakened, Chakotay considered briefly asking her to stop, but Kathryn was in charge now and he well knew there would be no stopping her. His body moved of its own accord, hips pumping at an increasing rate against the sweet sucking friction of her mouth. “Spirits, Kath…”
"Let me.." She was driving him crazy, pushing him beyond coherent thought; fingertips gliding, lingering, causing helpless shudders of pleasure until he lost himself in her passionate embrace. The pace of his movements quickened, his breath came in short gasps, as he watched her mouth pleasure him. His fingers twisted painfully in her hair. Kathryn felt him stiffen and with one final thrust, a deep guttural cry escaped his throat as he exploded within her. She continued her manipulation drinking, swallowing, licking every drop, before relinquishing her hold and resting her head against his belly.
Catching his breath, Chakotay tugged
her to her feet. Cupping her face, he drew her lips to his, he tasted
himself mixed with the wine, a trace of coffee and the sweet uniqueness
that was Kathryn. Suddenly Kathryn giggled and pulled back to watch
his face.
“What?” Chakotay couldn’t help but smile; it wasn't often Kathryn giggled.
“And if Tom is still watching.” She laughed.
“Then I think he has some very different perceptions to fuel his fantasies.”
“Really?”
“I don’t think even Tom ever imagined you on your knees.” He chuckled. " Well, he might have fantasized about it but I'm sure he never really considered you would do it. And I am very sure he never imagined you would enjoy it so much."
"I kind of thought they were past the ice maiden thing."
"Yes, I think you're right but in spite of everything, I think they still see you as.."
“A prude?”
“Well, a little more straight laced than this." He spread light kisses across her face.
"Then they better not spy on us, or they will be in for a rude awakening." Kathryn arched back as his lips traveled down her neck, a soft moan escaped.
He was licking the valley between her
breasts, his hot breath seared her flesh, as his teeth moved on to gently
nip the soft ivory mounds before his lips closed around her aching nipple.
Kathryn moaned. Chakotay suddenly lifted her, carryed her into the
other room, and deposited her on the bed.
"I hope they have ear plugs."
Chakotay peeled her slacks from her body. His hands gently parted
her thighs allowing him to move between them. "I intend to hear you
scream."
Kathryn shook her head, the smile on her face challenging him to prove her wrong. His fingers parted her already sodden curls, his mouth turning up in a smile as he studied the wet shine of her most intimate parts. He bent his head blowing warm puffs of air against her sensitive nerves as he watched her moisture flow in anticipation. One finger lightly traced the length of her inner lips, gliding easily through her wetness, pushing in and out as he watched. Chakotay licked his lips, smiling when her hips jerked in response.
"Think Paris would like to hear you beg?" She shook her head again and he laughed. "I do." He dropped his head, slowly, deliberately, dragging his tongue through her heated flesh and she shuddered. He chuckled against her. “Want to put rations on it? “ He teased, lifting his head to watch her reaction as his fingers lightly stroked her.
“No.” Her breathy reply told him he had already won.
“That’s good because I don’t intend to lose.” He lowered his face to her belly, his tongue toying with her navel, as one hand softly squeezed her nipple while the other continued to tease her slick folds.
Kathryn shifted, silently trying to direct his fingers to the throbbing nerve center he carefully avoided. He traced the edge of her hairline with his tongue, drawing a moist hot line to her center. A whimper escaped her lips, strong fingers tangled in his hair as she tried to force his attention where she needed it.
Chakotay pulled his mouth away and she groaned in frustration. Using his fingers, he opened her fully to his view. Biting back a whimper, she watched him lick his lips as he studied her. When he once again lowered his head and began to slowly torturously lap at her juices she couldn’t bite back the moans. Thrusting her hips, her hands stretched out only able to grasp the air. His tongue darted in and out, lapping at her entrance then tracing long slow lines along her lips all the while carefully avoiding her aching bundle of nerves.
“Chakotay..”
“Yes, love?” His words vibrated against her and she gasped.
“Please.”
“Please what?” He raised his head at the same time inserting two fingers deep inside her.
“Oh, god, don’t stop…” She tossed her head, raising her hips, “pleassse.”
“What? Please what?” He leaned over his tongue drawing tightening circles, edging closer to where she wanted him.
“Pleassssee…” she gaped “suck my clit.”
His tongue teased her a moment longer, his fingers pumped deeper and then his lips closed around her aching bundle of nerves.
“Aaaahhhhhhhh.” She cried out as
her body bucked and shuddered beneath his mouth.
When Kathryn's eyes opened, Chakotay
was on his knees above her, his fingers gently stroking her over sensitive
clit, his mouth lavishing attention on her breast. Kathryn reach between
them stroking her fingers down his silken shaft, once again hard as titanium.
“Please..” She positioned him, the head just nudging her entrance. “now, Chakotay, please.”
Chakotay slid slowly home, savoring the feel of her slick walls closing around him. He set a long even rhythm, withdrawing almost fully before plunging back. He felt the rhythmic clenching of her inner muscles as she forced an increase in his pace. He raised Kathryn’s legs higher penetrating deeper with each thrust until they were both gasping with the intensity of it. Chakotay slammed into her harder and harder, panting and moaning as they climbed toward release.
“Chaaaakkoottayyy.” Kathryn shrieked as another orgasm ripped through her body.
He followed her over with a deep garbled
version of her name and collapsed in a sweaty tangled heap.
“B’E?” Tom nudged his sleeping wife.
“Huuh?”
“Did you hear something?”
“Only you waking me up.” She growled
“I thought I heard something; sounded like it came from over there.” He pointed in the direction of the Captain’s cabin.”
“You were dreaming, Flyboy. Go back to sleep.” B’Elanna pulled him back down next to her.
“Yea, guess so. It’s quiet now.” Tom curled up behind his wife and went back to sleep.
“Getting up?” His sleepy wife asked as she snuggled deeper into their sleeping bag.
“Gotta pee.” He answered and double-checked
that she went back to sleep before taking the path to the cabin.
Quietly he stepped on the porch and peeked into the window. He was surprised to find it wasn’t as neat as he expected. There were two coffee cups on the table and Chakotay’s trousers from the night before were in a puddle on the floor and much to Tom’s disappointment a blanket and pillow sat on a crumpled sheet on the couch. Tom returned to the lean-to; he started a fire and a pot of coffee.
“So?” B’Elanna crawled out to join him.
“What?”
“Please, you went to look. Find anything?”
“Morning.” Harry joined them accepting the coffee Tom offered. “What’s up?”
“Just trying to find out what my nosy husband saw at the cabin.”
“Tom, you checked? God that’s awful.” Harry shook his head. “So?”
“Nothing. There were coffee cups and clothes on the floor and a blanket and sheets on the couch. Just like you said Harry, she only offered him her couch.”
“Too bad, I was kind of hoping you were right this time.” Harry shrugged.
“Yea, me, too.” B’Elanna shook her head.
“Oh, please! And you say I’m naïve!” Cele’s voice came from under her sleeping bag.
“What do ya mean?”
“I mean..” She pulled herself out and took a sip of Harry’s coffee. “do you picture the Captain leaving dirty dishes on the table or clothes on the floor? Don’t you think she would have folded the blankets at least?”
“She’s right!” B’Elanna slapped Tom on the back. “She set you up!”
Tom and Harry looked dumbfounded at one another then started to laugh.
“Yep, I bet that’s it!”
“Me, too. This is war!” Tom rubbed his hands together.
The morning meeting went pretty much as the Captain said it would. She decided to run two shifts, each would be six hours long and every crewman was to work four days and have three days off in rotation. Chakotay made it clear that this directive included both the chief engineer and the captain; neither argued. Chakotay got the monumental task of making the schedule work, of course taking into account which of the crew needed to work the same rotations as others. The Captain headed to engineering to obtain her assignment from the chief engineer. Six hours later, the Captain dragged her protesting first officer off the ship.
“Kathryn, I’m not finished with this rotation.”
“You are for today.”
“But there are people who don’t know when they are working.”
“Then they will find out tomorrow and in the mean time they can relax and so will you.”
“Yes, Ma’am.” Chakotay shook his head and laughed. “Can I ask you something?”
“What?” The Captain stopped and faced her first officer placing her hands on her hips.
“Who are you?”
“Very funny. I finally listen to all your nagging and now you question my identity? Or is it my sanity?”
“Can I refuse to answer that one?”
“I think you better.”
Harry shook his head as he stood with Celes and watched from across the landing strip as the command team playfully argue.
“These two are certainly acting odd.” Harry put his arm around Celes.
“They are just relaxing. They deserve it.” Celes smiled. “I think it’s cute.”
“Guess so, but I never pictured them as ‘cute’. It sure seems strange.”
“Hey, you guys, we’re going to catch an early dinner. Care to join us?” B’Elanna called out as she and Tom headed for the main house.
“OK.” Celes grabbed Harry’s hand and pulled him along after her.
“Early for dinner isn’t it?” Harry complained.
“A bit but Tom has a surprise for me afterwards.”
“Sounds interesting.”
They settled at a table on the outer edge of the verandah. Much to everyone’s delight, dinner was again surprisingly good. As they ate, they had seen the command team head down a wooded path, the captain carried what looked like a picnic basket while Chakotay looked more like a pack horse, with a knapsack on his back, a pack in his hand and a blanket slung over his arm. They resolved to check on the cabin later when everyone else was sleeping, and then moved on to other topics.
“So what is this mystery surprise thing?” Harry asked as he shoveled in his second desert.
“If I told you, B’E would hear and it would be spoiled.”
“OK, can we come and see for ourselves?” Celes asked.
“Ummm, not this time.” Tom looked uncertainly at B’Elanna then Celes. “I’m not sure how that would work out. Let’s let B’E try this, then we can talk about it.”
“Kathryn, just when did you become nature girl?” Chakotay struggled up another hill under his load.
“What’s wrong? A little hill too much for you?”
“Just wondering if we're ever going to get there.”
“Just over that hill, behind that grove of trees.” Kathryn pointed to a copse of trees about half a kilometer away.
“OK, but it better be worth it.”
“Trust me.”
As they moved out of the other side of the grove of trees, they came to a small clearing with a misty steam rising from the middle.
“What the ..?” Chakotay dropped his packs. “A hot spring?”
“Yes, isn’t it beautiful?” Kathryn spread the blanket and sat down to take off her boots. “Shall we eat first or would you like to try it?” Kathryn took the bottle of water he offered and took a swig.
“How about a hot soak for these old bones then we eat?” Chakotay was already stripping off his clothes.
“OK.” Kathryn was out of her clothes and into the hot spring before Chakotay got his boots off.
“Hey, wait up.” He took her hand and slipped into the warm water beside her. “Oh, this is nice. I think I understand that bath thing you have.”
“Ummm.” Kathryn ducked under the water and came to sit near the edge. “There is a little shelf thing here, come sit.”
“How did you find this?” He sat next to her putting his arm around her shoulder and pulling her closer.
“I cheated. The Altec Prime Minister told me. He even gave me a map.” Kathryn leaned back and let most of her body float. “Guess, he figured I could stand to relax a bit.”
“I’ll have to talk to that man before we go. I’ve been trying to get you to relax for years.”
“I can’t afford to relax a good deal of the time.” She looked up searching his face for the reassurance she needed.
“I know, Kathryn.” He leaned over and kissed her softly. “I really do understand, and I’m very happy to be the one you can share that rare time with.”
She relaxed again and they spent a half-hour soaking before enjoying their pic-nic. Kathryn tucked her towel around her as she finished packing away the food; Chakotay had long ago given up the shred of decency the towel was supposed to provide and draped it across his lap. He watched Kathryn neatly tuck things back into the bag and when she stretched to grab something across the blanket he couldn’t resist touching the soft pale skin of her thigh as it peeked from the open side of the towel.
Chakotay felt himself harden as he watched the dark fingers sliding over snow white thigh to her hip. Kathryn stopped, perched on hands and knees and looked over her shoulder at him with a smile that shot him through with desire. Completely discarding his own towel, Chakotay move up to kneel behind her, his hand reaching up to unfasten the towel and cup her breast as it hung free, swaying gently into his hand. Kathryn sighed arching so that her breast pushed into his hand and her towel covered bottom rose slightly toward him.
Chakotay ran his hand across her towel clad bottom then tossed aside the towel and lowered his head to spread feather light kisses on the tight white globes of her bottom. Kathryn moaned pushing back lightly against his lips. Kathryn raised up trying to turn around but he put his hands on her back and gently pushed her back down.
“Stay.” His hands massaged her shoulders, running down her back and earning a moan when he kneaded her soft cheeks.
Kathryn lowered herself to her elbows and forearms, resting her forehead on the blanket; she found it very exciting to be held in such a vulnerable position. His hands caressed her gently spreading her cheeks, the touch of his hot breath caused her to gasp. She felt the rush of wetness between her legs as his tongue traced the cleft gently toying with her smaller opening. Chakotay’s hands continued touching her everywhere; her frustration at not being able to touch him was soon lost to the sensations he created.
Strong, gentle hands fondled her breast, his tongue prodded her, forcing the tip into her tight opening; Kathryn moaned rocking back and forth unable to decide which sensation to pursue. Chakotay’s fingers moved to stroke the soft underside of her breast, trailing across her ribs and caress her belly. As they moved lower tangling in her coarse curls and spreading the tender lips Kathryn cried out.
“Oh goddd.” Her hips jerked as he dipped into her abundant moisture.
His fingers stroked her, circling her clit; his tongue moved to lap at her pungent juices now flowing freely. Kathryn was panting as she started rocking to alternately push against his hand and mouth. Chakotay kissed his way up her back until he was kneeling behind her nibbling her neck, his fingers still stroking between her legs; Kathryn wriggled back against him with the intense stimulation. With one hand Chakotay positioned himself at her wet opening; the other continued to stimulate her as with one strong steady push he buried himself fully.
“Oohhhhh” She nearly lost her balance with the suddenness of his deep penetration.
Moving his hand to her hip, he thrust in long deep strokes, which Kathryn struggled to match. The tension coiled in her belly, as she writhed under the attention of his insistent fingers and the increased rhythm of his pounding cock. Kathryn, barely able to maintain her position, braced herself as her body exploded, shattering in helpless convulsions.
“Chakoootaayy” Tore from her throat as her body bucked wildly against him, her muscles gripping and squeezing him, breaking the last of his control and sending him plummeting after her.
Chakotay collapsed, crushing her to the ground beneath him as they gasped for air and waited for their bodies to return to the land of the living, before he rolled them to their sides.
“Is this a mutiny?” She rolled to face him, kissing his sweaty chest before her eyes smiled into his.
“Mutiny?”
“Ummm, suddenly you seem to be infatuated with dominating me.” She laughed at the quizzical look on his face. “You prefer me on my knees, you want to hear me beg, and if that wasn’t a submissive position then….”
“As I recall, being on your knees is your preference.” He tilted her face up and softly kissed her lips. “And you certainly can’t tell me you didn’t enjoy what we just did.” He laughed. “And submissive is not a word I would ever use to describe you no matter what the circumstances! Hell, you are in charge, even when you’re begging!”
“So it’s not a mutiny?” She settled herself more securely in his arms.
“Why would I do that?” He stroked her back, settling comfortably in the setting sun. “When I already have everything I could want.” They drifted off into a satisfied sleep.
“I don’t mean to be ungrateful, but how much farther?” B’Elanna climbed the hill behind Tom.
“Not far. The guy I talked to said it was just around those trees.”
“This better be good, Flyboy.” B’Elanna’s voice threatened, but she reached out to take his hand.
“I think it is.” For the first time he looked a little uncertain. “I think you’ll like it.”
“I’m sure I will.” She stopped and kissed him. “And if not, you'll just have to die.” She laughed.
As they cleared the last trees, B’Elanna could see the rising steam. She looked up with glistening eyes to see Tom watching her.
“Hot springs?” He nodded. “Wow, this is great. Thank you.” She started to run forward but stopped suddenly holding her hands up to stop him.
B’Elanna turned back to Tom and put her finger to her lips; he walked quietly up to join her. B’Elanna pointed to the blanket only a few feet away. Tom’s jaw dropped as he made out the occupants in the fading light.
On a blanket only a short distance away lay his commanding officers, tangled together in sleep and quite obviously naked. Tom looked at B’Elanna and back at the couple she was studying in amusement. The Captain was on her back, her head tilted against the top of his. Chakotay had one leg thrown across her lower body, obscuring all but a few auburn pubic hairs, his hand rested on her belly, his face nuzzled in her neck, leaving her breasts completely exposed.
Tom motioned B’E to follow him back into the trees; she shook her head but gave in and followed him.
“B’E, I’m sorry.” Tom whispered when they were far enough away. “We can't stay here now.”
“Why not? Isn’t this what you always wanted.. to catch them?”
“Yea, but not like this.”
“Chicken.”
“Come on, B’E, we can’t do that to them. How do you think they would feel if they knew we found them like this?”
“Chak would be fine… well, maybe not cause she might not like it.”
“Exactly.”
“But she doesn’t look too inhibited to me.”
“Well, not at the moment but then she obviously wasn’t expecting company.”
“Probably not but they are out in an open field…”
“True.” He looked hopelessly at his determined wife. “What?”
“Let’s just sneak over and try it—we won’t make any noise and only stay a minute. We came all this way and it’s a HOT SPRING.”
“You’re worse than me. OK, promise
not to make noise?” She nodded. “And we'll only a few
minutes—right?”
“Promise.”
The circled far around the sleeping couple and quickly shed their clothes before slipping into the steamy water. The water was hot and soothing and time passed too quickly. The light from the suns had completely faded, but the three moons shone bright and full casting a silvery glow through the mist.
“Mind if we join you?”
Tom and B’Elanna jumped startled by the sound of his voice. Looking up they found Chakotay standing naked at the edge of the pool; the Captain stood, wrapped in a towel by his side, holding his hand.
“Chak?!” B’Elanna grabbed Tom’s hand under the water and pushed back against the wall as if she could hide.
“Err, we didn’t realize…” Tom choked out.
“Tom wanted to surprise me and when we got here..” B’Elanna looked up helplessly at the smiling, unmoving couple. “We should have left, it was my fault….” B’Elanna gasped when she realized Chakotay was still naked.
“If you would prefer we leave…” Chakotay continued calmly.
“No, stay.. I mean, if you want to…. It’s..” Tom glanced at B’Elanna. “It’s OK with us, isn’t it?”
“Yea, sure, I mean you were here first. We could leave, but if you don’t mind…”
Kathryn leaned over and handed a cup to B’Elanna, who took it mutely.
“We brought wine, but only have two cups, so you’ll have to share.” As she spoke, she dropped her towel and stepped into the water.
Chakotay moved into the pool, sitting close to Kathryn and sharing the cup of wine he carried.
“I didn’t expect anyone else to find this so quickly. How did you manage that, Tom?” Kathryn waited while Tom tried to regain some composure.
“A guy told me. One of the Prime Minister's guards.”
“I see.”
“I’m sorry, Captain. I didn’t know anyone else would be here.” Tom actually looked remorseful.
“I’m sure you didn’t. It never occurred to me that anyone else had been told about it either.”
It took a few more minutes and many more efforts by both Kathryn and Chakotay before the younger couple began to relax. Slowly, it seeped into their stunned brains that not only were they not going to die, but neither member of the older couple seemed to mind their presence.
“So, uhhh, does this explain why you haven’t chosen new quarters yet, Old Man?” B’Elanna finally got brave enough to ask.
“Yes.” Chakotay didn’t hesitate to answer.
“Did you think you might tell me?”
“I thought that nosy husband of yours would find out soon enough.”
“So the blankets on the couch were a sham!” Tom blurted out before realizing what he was admitting.
“Spying on me, Mr. Paris?”
“Shit!”
“Hey, you set him up!” B’Elanna came to her husband’s defense.
“I must admit to that.” Kathryn laughed. “It was a fun game while it lasted.” Kathryn sipped the last of the wine and handed the cup back to Chakotay. “As lovely as this is, it's getting late and we are out of wine.”
“I think you’re right.”
Chakotay climbed out of the pool and picked up her towel. After drying himself quickly he held it out for her, wrapping it around her as she stepped from the water.
“We better go, too.” Tom looked at B’Elanna. “We’ll need a few minutes to get dressed, but we'll be right behind you.
“Take your time.” Kathryn glanced over her shoulder at him. “I wasn’t planning on going back down there dressed like this either!”
It was dark and very quiet by the time the four reached the encampment. Only a few lights were still on in the main house and even the glow of the fire in the pit was barely visible. Chakotay and Kathryn said good night quietly, leaving Tom and B’Elanna at the lean-tos and continued on to the cabin.
“Hey, nice surprise?” Harry’s groggy voice came out of the darkness.
“Surprise, definitely! Nice?
Yea, I think it turned out very nice.” B’Elanna laughed as she prepared
for bed.
“What’s that supposed to mean?”
“Long story, Harry.” Tom climbed into his sleeping bag. “Go to sleep. I’ll explain in the morning… maybe.”
The End.
