There are millions of stars in the celestial sphere, Each shining, each bright, and each true. Take each of these stars individually, dear, And you'll guess how much I must love you.
Take the manliest men on the face of the earth With their charm and their grace and know-how; Let them tempt me with words and I'll cast them aside -- For just one sweet kiss from you now!
Take the monies on earth, and bury them deep, And I swear by the One up above, I'll never have need for mere earthly things As long as I live for your love.
So, dearest, though flowery these words may be, And splendid, and rhyming, and such, They NEVER will come near the words in my heart, For I love you dear, so very much!
