Wings of shadow
soundless flight,
Claws of marble
teeth of might.
Creature of strength
and ancient lore,
Dragon of magick,
of power and more.

in the forest of the night.
Your friendship is a blessing,
your pressence is a boon.
Your wings are spread to shield me
from accidents and harm.
Your mighty fire is powerful,
blazing a path clear for me.
You teach me magick
and ancient lore
I teach you of humans,
present and gone.
Together we become stronger,
apart we become weaker.
We dance the dance of the Earth,
of magick and of life
we dance the dance around the fire,

These are the stories, enchanted and old.
Now these times are all gone, or so it may seem,
But here you can dream an enchanted dream
How the dragons were both brave and bold.
