1. Grab ANY medium available to you. Pencil, pen, marker, crayon, etc. Any type of paper, sketchbook, index card, receipt, napkin.
2. Draw boxes freehand. Rulers are for wussies! Or don't draw any boxes at all! Just divide the space up by lines. OR don't even use lines! Confuse the hell out of your readers! (Unless it's a one panel comic anyways.)
3. Don't worry about dynamics. The beauty of doodling a comic out quickly and unprofessionally is the energy of it. Have fun, make mistakes on purpose. Be sketchy.
4. Draw your characters however darn well you please! Darn tootin'!
5. Keep text handwritten, unless you have REALLY unlegible writing. Don't use cursive. Cursive is ebil incarnate.
6. If you color, keep colors simple. Think of the Sunday comics. These aren't museum pieces (unless you count Pop Art =D).
7. Show off to friends..or not. Eat! =D
8. Have a better idea? Don't listen to a word I said!
Page 4 of the Boredom comic. A crappy comic to keep me from getting bored. Drawn totally in ball point-pen. Drawn in a small sketchbook. Very sloppy. XD
Just like the title says, "Jammer's Random Comic of Crap." Whee! Pencil on computer paper. Drawn out of frustration at a still life. Drawing out extreme feelings is good for crap comics!
Drawn in MSPaint with a mouse. Col. Halford SUCKS! BWAHAHA! Very bad...here's the use of no boxes, just a dividing line.
