Ideal position for Black in the Hypermodern York | Position after 10. ... Qa4!! | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Ten -- count them: ten! -- chapters of brand-spanking new opening theory in the game of chess, including -- believe it or not! -- three brand-new openings in chess never seen before in the long history of the game! (That's hundreds of years, folks!) Also, major contributions -- and all brand-spanking new theory, by the way -- are made in the Benko Gambit, Queen's Gambit Accepted, Center-Counter, Danish Gambit, Scotch Opening, French Defense, and Bird Opening. Major, major, major -- three times over! -- contributions are made in the French Defense. Two difficult lines for Black are repaired, and I offer the world the French Gambit! Each chapter has a one-page introduction, and each chapter has at least one section of brand-spanking new opening theory! download/view |
This is a serious work containing four seperate articles in advanced opening theory. The French Defense is the subject of two of the four articles. I analytically prove that Black can draw in both the Albin-Chatard-Alekhine variation, and the MacCutcheon variation of the French Defense. In fact, the onus is upon White to prove he can either win, or draw! An article on the York Variation of the Dutch Defense is intended for grandmaster children, and -- believe it or not! -- the world has many discovered and undiscovered grandmaster children. The final article is an advanced study of a system I refer to as the Polgar System: 1. a4. A playable opening by both Whtie and Black. White and Black emerge from the opening with a tense but equal struggle for control of the entire board! download/view |
