Learning to play well with others…

We were going to pull into Pusan Korea. This was to be our first port in quite some time, and I had decided that it would be just another boring straight acting time in a foreign port. We pulled in around noon and all of my friends had decided that we were going to the USO picnic that the local army base was holding for us. We were given an unlimited amount of beer, so I sat down with my plate and several glasses of beer, because the line was enormous.

We all had just sat down and started to eat when someone told me there was a couple of phone lines in the church buildings, so I decided I was going to call my boyfriend of a failing relationship. I went in and made my phone call, and when I got back, there was a whole new group people sitting at our table. Well, since my stuff was still there, I just sat back down. I seemed to notice right off of the bat that the guy that was sitting directly in front of me was acting very flamboyantly . I began to think that I was not alone in Kansas anymore. After about 10 minutes, this person turned to me and asked me in a very eccentric voice...  “So, what clubs do you go to in San Diego” Well I asked him back where he went. He said I asked you first.  So I said back that I was not answering until he said first. (just being a little cautious...Chicken that is) He says “Well, there is Rich's and WCPC” (Now known as Montage). I pipe up, “Hey, I love those places.”  All of the sudden, I am thrust into a really interesting time, because the entire table is loaded with queens from my boat.

If you are reading this, there should be some other cool stories about other fabulous times in other ports. As soon as I get past the whole wholesome thing on my page, I can elaborate on the rest of the events on that following night!
