When You Need Patience
Not
only so, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, beacuse we know that suffering
produces perseverance; Perseverance, chracter; and character, hope.
Romans 5:3,4.
By
standing firm you will gain life. Luke
21:19.
You
need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will
receive what he has promised. Hebrews
10:36.
Therefore,
since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw
off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let
us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.
Hebrews 12:1.
Because
you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance.
James 1:3.
And
to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance,
godliness.
2 Peter 1:6.
Since
you have kept my command to endure patiently, I will also keep you from
