When You Need Wisdom
Surely you desire truth in the inner parts; you teach me wisdom in the inmost place.      Psalm 51:6.

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; all who follow his precepts have good understanding. To him belongs eternal praise.      Psalm 111:10.

Turning your ear to wisdom and applying your heart to understanding, And if you call out for insight and cry aloud for understanding, And if you look for it as for silver and search for it as for hidden treasure, Then you will understand the fear of the Lord and find the knowledge of God. For the Lord gives wisdom, and from his mouth come knowledge and understanding. He holds victory in store for the upright, he is a shield to those whose walk is blameless.     Proverbs 2:2-7.

Blessed is the man who finds wisdom, the man who gains understanding.    Proverbs 3:13.

He who gets wisdom loves his own soul; he who cherishes understanding propers.    Proverbs 19:8.

For the wisdom of this world is foolishness in God's sight. As it is written:"He catches the wise in their craftiness."     1 Corinthians 3:19.

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom, and as you sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God.    Colosians 3:16.

If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him.        James 1:5.
