When You Need Peace

I will lie down and sleep in peace, for you alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety.    Psalm 4:8.


Whom have I in heaven but you? And earth has nothing I deisre besides you. My fresh and my heart may fail, but God is strength of heart and my portion forever.
                 Psalms 73:25,26.

Great peace have they who love your law, and nothing can make them stumble.     Psalm 119:165.


Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.      John 14:27.


Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.
                 Romans 5:1.

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by power of the Holy Spirit.     Romans 15:13.


For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.       Romans 14:17.


Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your mind in Christ Jesus.       Philippians 4:6,7.


I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.      John 16:33.
