"I can't believe your wearing a formal dress uniform," Mac comments as they walk along the outside of the ferry.

"Special occasions call for special attire," Mic replies.

"We're just having dinner," she says.

"We're having more than that," he disagrees.

"Don't assume, remember?" she chides him as they climb a small flight of steps.

"I'm not. I'm talking about having a serious discussion," Mic tells her. Mac just smiles in return. "I know you like me."

She laughs, "Of course, I like you, Mic."

He places his hands gently on her waist and looks into her eyes. "I'm in love with you, Sarah," he says. "Shhh..." he places his hand lightly over her mouth to keep her from interrupting. "For once in your life just listen. I've loved you since the moment I first laid eyes on you. I've never acted so foolishly or ached so hard in my heart in all my life." She attempts to stop him with a kiss, but he holds her back. "No...let me finish, please; while I've got the strength." She nods. "I knew that getting you to love a knocker like me would take a miracle." He looks up into the star laden sky and she turns to look up, too. "Look-" he points. "I'm praying one will fall from the Southern Cross tonight," he slowly brings up a diamond ring into her line of vision. And she giggles.

"Oh, god. Ah...it's impossible, Mic," she says.

"No. Once you would have said me holding you in my arms under the Southern Cross would be impossible," he denies.

"You're right," she remarks.

"I mean, I know it won't be easy," Mic acknowledges. "God knows we got a lot to work out: Your career; mine; but I'm willing to make any sacrifice...any...if you'd just be my wife."

"Ohhh," she says and they share a sweet kiss. She pulls away, "Hey...I need time to think."

"Absolutely," he agrees and waiting just a moment, "Well?"

"More..." she laughs. "More time..."

"Wear my ring," he requests.

"I can't," Mac says.

"On your right hand," he picks up said hand and slides the ring on. "Until you decide...then all you have to do is swap it over to the other...or not." He kisses her again... "So beautiful." ...and again.

"Mic, wait," she says, distracted by some loud partiers in another boat. "Isn't that the boat we saw in the video in court yesterday?"

"That bastard..."
