>>Education and Career: Academy graduate, and served as a Naval aviator until his night blindness contributed to an accident that occurred while he was trying to land his Tomcat on a carrier. His RIO was killed. Although he was cleared of any responsibility in the accident, he was forced to give up being a Navy pilot. He then spent 3 years in law school and is currently at JAG, with partner Lt. Colonel Sarah MacKenzie.
