Yesterday -- Today -- Tomorrow Yesterday I met a stranger...Today this stranger is my friend. Had I not taken the time to say hello, or return a smile, or shake a hand, or listen, I would not have known this person. Yesterday would have turned into today and our chance of meeting would be gone. Yesterday I hugged someone very dear to me. Today they are gone...and tomorrow will not bring them back. Wouldn't it be nice if we all knew tomorrow would be here? But this is not to be, so take the time TODAY to give a hug, a smile, an "I love you." JUST FOR TODAY, ...smile at a stranger; listen to someone's heart; drop a coin where a child can find it; learn something new, then teach it to someone; tell someone you're thinking of them; hug a loved one; don't hold a grudge; don't be afraid to say "I'm sorry"; look a child in the eye and tell them how great they are. Don't kill that spider in your house, he's just lost so show him the way out; look beyond the face of a person into their heart; make a promise, and keep it; call someone, for no other reason than to just say "hi"; show kindness to an animal; stand up for what you believe in; smell the rain, feel the breeze, listen to the wind; use all your senses to their fullest; cherish all your TODAYS. |

When The Angels Cried
Stillness filled the Heavens on crucifixion day, Some say it rained, but I don't know if it's true. Well, I can just imagine ten thousand angels cried, That would seem like rain to me and you.
The angels all stood ready to take Him from the tree, They waited for the words from His voice. And when He asked the Father, "Why has Thou forsaken Me?" They watched the Savior die of His own choice.
I've never seen ten thousand angels cry But I'm sure that they did, As they stood by and watched the Savior die.
God turned His head away . . . He couldn't bear the sight; It must have looked like rain When ten thousand angels cried.
As the sun slipped away, The skies turned to grey; And when Jesus gave His all, That's when the tears began to fall.
I've never seen ten thousand angels cry But I'm sure that they did; As they stood by and watched the Savior die.
God turned His head away . . . He couldn't bear the sight; It must have looked like rain When ten thousand angels cried. |

SOMETIMES I WALK IN THE VALLEY
I Know I must run this race real slow...... Because I have so far to go. There are times when my journey has me down, But I stop and think about my heavenly crown. Sometimes I walk in the Valley I have to keep going through all my pain. Cause in the end I have so much to gain.... Sometimes I walk in the Valley Father God, I know I will endure and make it through, because I can always reach out and depend on you. Sometimes I walk in the Valley I know everyday is not going to be easy for me, but in Jesus name, am claiming the Victory! Because Sometimes I MUST WALK in the Valley © Renee Covington Yea though I walk through the valley and when I walk, I will fear no evil For He is with me. |
