Ash started writing because she felt sorry for poor Luke Skywalker. Leia got Han, the kids and had a marvelous career. Luke went through situation after situation without getting anything. The pro-writers were really writing him badly. He wasn't the hero she'd fallen for on the big screen.
The scribbled piles of paper in a folder grew larger until she discovered fanfic. She wasn't the only one out there. So she sent it in and somebody put it up on a site. Thus, her career as a fanfic writer was born.
When not writing about StarWars, she teaches Music to teenagers in a school. Can be rewarding. Thank goodness the SW Universe is there to escape to when she gets home.

Luke has been injured on an away mission and the medics, Leia and the Jedi have given up hope. Only Mara Jade clings to the belief that something can be done.
