Evil Zanglef

Go to the character select screen and select Zanglef in the normal way but then do a half circle backward movement on the D-pad and press quick kick. Zanglef will turn into an evil version of himself.

Gold War Machine

Again on the character select screen go to Zanglef but this time get ready to input a long sequence of D-pad moves:

Left, Left, Down, Down, Right, Right, Down, Down, Left, Left, Up, Up, Up, Up, Right, Right, Left, Left, Down, Down, Down, Down, Right, Right, Up, Up, Left, Left, Down, Down, Right, Right, Up, Up, Up, Up, Up.

You should now have a golden War Machine above Zanglef on the screen!

Hyper Venom

Similar to the Zanglef codes, go to the character select screen, but this time put the cursor on Chun-Li and press:

Right, Down, Down, Down, Down, Left, Up, Up, Up, Up, Right, Right, Down, Down, Left, Left, Down, Down, Right, Right, Up, Up, Up, Up, Left, Left, Up.

If you press the kick button you will now get ice blue venom, the punch button will give you blood red venom and pressing Up will give you Hyper Venom!

Lilith

Another secret character is available by selecting Zanglef again, then pressing:

Left, Left, Down, Down, Right, Right, Up, Up, Down, Down, Down, Down, Left, Left, Up, Up, Up, Up, Right, Left, Down, Down, Down, Down, Right, Right, Up, Up, Up, Up, Left, Left, Down, Down, Down, Down, Right, Down.

Alternate Ryu

Do the following with a level-1 super-meter to get different styles of Ryu.

Evil Ryu: Half-circle back + Fierce Punch.

Ryu as Ken: Half-circle back + Fierce Punch.

Sentinal as Special Partner

Simultaneously press Medium Punch, Medium Kick and Hard Punch after choosing your tag team.

Swap Starting Character

Hold all three punch buttons at the Vs screen to change who starts the match.

Shadow Lady

At the character select screen, highlight Morrigan and then move the selection box around the screen in this order:

Up, Right, Right, Down, Down, Down, Down, Left, Left, Up, Up, Up, Up, Right, Right, Left, Left, Down, Down, Right, Right, Down, Down, Left, Left, Up, Up, Right, Right, Up, Up, Left, Left, Down, Down, Down, Down, Down.

Play as Orange Roll

Highlight Zanglef, then move the cursor:

Left, Left, Down, Down, Right, Right, Left, Left, Up,Right, Up, Up, Right.

Roll will appear next to Rockman.

Snap Shot

Press START to pause the game. Then hold Y and press X. This lets you see the characters and backgrounds clearly without the tinted screen.
