Dungeon 1 (heavens ruins)

This level is pretty short and simple (only 10 floors). You should get used to it to get to know the enemy's attacks and how to beat them. Watch out for the freak-sized mice, they have a mean bite and take a few hits to kill.

After a while you start to notice the hidden traps. Some of these can give you power-ups, but others can harm you. The risk is up to you.

By the time you reached the tenth floor you should be on a power level of at least 10. If you're not then you should probably leave the level and fly back to a lower floor.

The plant can be real tough, especially when it gives itself more HP. Watch out for when it's hungry - it'll eat you and spit you out, taking away half your energy. Beat this bitch with plenty of specials and magic.

Dungeon 2 (descent ruins)

This dungeon takes a while to get through, but as you must get a power level of 26 you're going to ned that extra time.

The last two floors don't have enemies, although they are huge. Be careful you don't fall over the edge of this spiralling staircase.

The boss on this stage is huge, and you're going to need at least level 26 to take the punishment of his eectric charge. Obviously the lightning-based attacks dn't have much effect on this guy, so try other weapons.

This boss has three main attacks: electric shock (which he uses two goes for), a power drill, and a smoke screen which usually blinds your character's vision. So make sure you have plenty of eye potion.

Dungeon 3 (sheol ruins)

This stage is set in a lava-filled level, and instead of progressing upwards you go downwards. The traps on the stage are obvious, but it's best to walk along the side of the corridors to make sure.

After about seven floors your surroundings change. The first room in this new environment is full or enemies. A perfect opportunity to strengthen your character

After about 15 floors you should reach the boss - a giant moth with lots of HP. You need to be on at least level 36 to stand a chance of beating it.

The boss has two attacks: the powder hits all characters for around 1000 HP, and the other is a whirlwind which takes 800 HP off just one character. Magic and strong hits will kill off this beast.

Dungeon 4 (shades ruins)

This dungeon has lots of new enemies, although many of them are just stronger versions of others seen earlier in the game. By the end of this level they'll be stronger than the first boss.

Once you've reached the twenty-first floor and you're at around level 50, you're ready to confront the boss. Make sure you pop your woollies on as he can conjure up quite a freeze.

This boss is a giant gold robot with two attacks. The first is an ice cube that can freeze you, the second is a lock-on attack that hits all characters and knocks off about 1500HP!

Don't use Linear to fight at all, she's most useful healing herself and the injured characters. To kill off the boss, quickly use Mag and Chain/Pepper's final attack. Once he's dead, head off home.

Not Over Yet

Gre is being held hostage by the general as he wants Linear. They take Linear, but Gre is later freed. You must make your way to your plane and fight a tank.

When you arrive on the ship, choose to have Gre loo after the plane, and bring Chain and Pepper with you to fight.

Now make your way to the end of the ship and fight as many enemies as you can. When you reach the lift, choose DOWN and you're then facing the general. You need a level of 82 for this boss.

To beat this guy, keep healing with Mag and attacking with Peppers final attack. It shouldn't take too long. After the fight he runs away. Take this time to go back and have about 200 fights, as you need to be on level 92 to stand a chance against the next boss.

The Grande Finale

It's what you've been waiting for throughout the whole game: Mecha General. His attacks are very powerful, so you must be prepared to heal with Mag after every hit.

To hit the boss hard you must attack him with Pepper's final FP attack and try to heal her FP with potions and magic.

This mother of all bosses has around 30,000 HP, so you need to get him with Pepper's final attack three times, which will take a while.

Well done. You have beaten the final boss. Sit back and enjoy what appears to be the ending.

To Infinity and Beyond...

After beating the game, remember to save onto your VMU! Now you'll see there's another dungeon. Go to the society and pick it, and choose Pepper as your side-kick.

This dungeon is there for the purpose of powering up to your heart's content. You can find the lizard boss after the twenty-sixth floor. He doesn't take long to beat.

Once the lizard boss is dead, go back to the society and pick a mission. You'll notice that instead of a ne mission ther's the option to go back and choose previous dungeons to play for fun.

Congratulations! You have completely thrashed EVOLUTION. Now go to a bar and have some Naolin on me!

Unlimited Naolin Gold

When you're on the carrier near the end of the game enter the door with the first aid symbol and search the medicine cabinet for a Naolin Gold. You can go there as often as you like to stock up on them.
