Emulators, games, game emulator. I just got a PS2 Slim. Before I bought it, me and my brother kept trying to see which was better, the PS2 or the Xbox. Maybe the Xbox did have better graphics but what good is graphics when you can't even tell how good the graphics are on my tiny tim T.V. Besides, Xbox had no games I liked. About 80% of Xbox games are sports games and their all the same.

The PS2 Slim also has a network adapter built into it, but never really understood how to use it. Although, I wonder why they made it cost more then the PS2 regular when it cost less to make it. I wanted the sliding disk platform :( Well at least I can carry it around like a notebook. Also moving into a new house soon. Going to be so much bigger then my old house and has a swimming pool and a hot tub. Downside is that it's so far from the school I'm going to which is pretty gay becuase gas prices are being stupid.

Must Buy Games
1. Obviously the best game I've played and was the whole reason I chose the PS2 over the Xbox. Has a great story line and the characters personalities just make the whole game seem more realistic. The music matches perfectly for every moment of the game and the gameplay, although a role-playing game, is some of the best I've seen in any game. Some people might not like a role-playing game but this ones different. It doesn't feel like your following a pre-planned game but more of someones life through their eyes.

I have never seen anyone not like this game after they've played it. Although the ending is sad, it just leaves you wanting more and that is exactly what Squaresoft planned for. If you complete the game, you have a choice of a veriety of mini-games and defeating fiends more powerful then your last opponent which just leaves more even more hours of game play. So if you don't have this game, I really recomend Final Fantasy X.
2. I mentioned Squaresoft leaving you wanting more and thats exactly what they planned for after the sequal for Final Fantasy X, Final Fantasy X-2. Not as great as the original but what sequal is as great as how you would expect them to be. Explains what happened after two years after the original story and gets more in depth about what happened. They tried to make it seem like less of a role-playing game by letting you select locations, but that just made it worse.

Game is based on game completion so you can't really get 100% unless you use a walkthrough which I didn't like doing becuase even if you follow the walkthroughs step by step, you can still end up with 1% missing and have to get it on the second play. I really liked the way they changed the characters. You'll want to play this game again anyways so I guess that's why they use story completion so you don't have the same thing over again.
3. I don't think anyone would buy this for playing the story line of the game. It's sometimes funny but the free play is way more entertaining. It can get boring after a few days but it's fun to just pull out on those days you have nothing else to do and drive around killing. You can do missions but they get so boring so it's always more fun to just drive around. Large veriety of weapons to choose from and it's fifty times better then those other look a-likes mainly Driver.

This game does have a lot of downsides thoguh. To buy certain buildings, you not only require a large amout of money but you must advance further into the game and that goes the same for getting you wanted levels up besides the money. It gets boring faster then other games and they don't really give you a big selection of characters other then a white guy which doesn't make you feel like you're actually doing anything in the game.
4. At first I thought this game was going to be more talking and no action like when the republic elects the senator and the he starts talking in the center of...but it was suprising how this was more related to war compared to the movies. A very large selection of weapons and units. Instead of small groups in combat, Ghost Recon, you have a pretty decent army running at all times and instead of dying once and gameover, Ghost Recon, you come back to life based on the units you have left.

This should be ranked #3 but I've noticed mroe people would want Grand Theft Auto then a Star Wars game. I don't like that you can't have a larger veriety of weapons on one person, but that wouldn't be so realistic so I guess they did a pretty good job overall. You also can control people running around you but not that much control over the rest of the game. Also you have to kill more then 1/4 the enemies army while your team only kills about 1%.

5. Need for Speed Underground has very nice cars. Comparing the PS2 to PC version, the PC version looses to the PS2 by far. The graphics are horrible on the computer, but on the PS2, the graphics look just like the cover even when designing or racing. The cars are very nice and the background but that was pretty much it. The people in the game look retarded and very ugly and after you get all the accesories, it get kind of boring.

It also does't make sence that when you take a shortcut, it's not short at all. Also, when you don't choose 3 certain special upgrades, you can never beat the last few and although it says there is a certain amount of races, it goes past it so you have to try and beat impossible cars that can never be stoped. Also when your really far ahead, the computer automatically gets to go past the possible limit and just catch up to you. It is so boring when that happens becuase you can lap them and they'll still catch up.
