-PRE HIGH-
I went to P.S.155 in elementery school. In junior high school
I went to Allen Christian School.Allen Christian School is a private school which was my favorite school I went to so far.The school I went to was very small and the teachers worked with the students alot.In that school almost everyone did well.If someone had an 80 average I looked at it as strange. Now , I sometimes wish I can get an 80 in classes.Sometimes I wonder if the grades were so good because it was junior high school or because the people in that school stayed on track.I really enjoyed Allen Christian School. We would take alot of trips in that school. We went to Washington D.C.,Baltimore,up-state New York, and other places with in New York City.I thought high school would be the same but it isn't .Maybe it's because I'm in a public school. If I could turn back the hands of time I would definetly go to a private high school.Depending on what kind of person you are , I think private school is much better than public school. The advantages to private school are:uniforms(you dont have to pick out what you are going to wear in the morning),detention(if you are out of line in school, you will have a sort of a punishment and depending on what it is you can get expelled),it is hard to cut class(if you stay in class and know you can't just leave and walk out,you will do better in school),smaller classes(the less people there are in class the better it is for you to understand what is being taught). There are other advantages to private school. There is also disadvantages to private school.I'm not trying to say that everything about public school is bad , but whenever I have children ,they are going to private school.
-HIGH SCHOOL-
My high school experience was good at times and annoying at times. When I first came to Jamaica I was so overwhelmed with the people here.Everyone looked so old .I felt like a little baby compared to the others. It was okay because I had friends my age and we were on the same level.I did much better in school in my freshman and sophmore year.In my junior year it seems like I had all the extra hard classes , but now in my senior year I am back on track.I am not very in to school right now.I have no school spirit.I am really looking forward to college.I guess the only people that affected my life during the course of my four years is the students.I learned all about people in high school. Some of the students in high school were "cool" and some I just feel for them when they get into the real world.I'm not a very social person , but I am more then okay with that.I also feel that I've learned some things about myself in Jamaica.I can not say that I haven't acccomplished any goals I set out.The goals that wasn't accomplished turned out to be a good thing in the end.No one is perfect and the way I do better is if I get knocked down a couple of times.I start to realize what it is that I am working for and for high school ,it is to do well and graduate on time.
-POST HIGH-
I plan to go to Hampton University. It is a historically black college in Virginia. When I first got into high school I wanted to be doctor but then I decided that I didn't want to stay in school that long .I decided to become a speech pathologist(speech therapist).I want to have a job that help people .I plan on getting my master's degree.I only plan on keeping in contact with a few people.I want to make a fresh start in college.
