The Omnipotence of God
The "Omnipotence of God " means
that God is all-powerful, and Almighty. He has unlimited power and authority,
and can do absolutely anything He wants to by just speaking a Word. This
is Jehovah God, the Father Son and Holy Spirit, the God we worship, and
Who is on our side, and Who cares intimately about us.
Psa 96:1-9 (KJV)
O sing unto the LORD a new song: sing
unto the LORD, all the earth.
{2} Sing unto the LORD, bless his
name;
show forth his salvation from day to day.
{3} Declare his glory among the heathen,
his wonders among all people.
{4} For the LORD is great, and greatly
to be praised:
he is to be feared above all gods.
{5} For all the gods of the nations
are idols {Heb=good for nothing}:
but the LORD made the heavens.
{6} Honour and majesty are before him:
strength
and beauty are in his sanctuary.
{7} Give unto the LORD, O ye kindreds
of the people,
give unto the LORD glory and strength.
{8} Give unto the LORD the glory due unto
his name:
bring an offering, and come into his courts.
{9} O worship the LORD in the beauty of
holiness:
fear before him, all the earth.
Psa 145:3-6 (KJV)
Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised;
and his greatness is unsearchable.
{4} One generation shall praise thy works
to another,
and shall declare thy mighty acts.
{5} I will speak of the glorious honour
of thy majesty,
and of thy wondrous works.
{6} And men shall speak of the might of
thy terrible acts:
and I will declare thy greatness.
Jer 32:17-19 (KJV)
Ah Lord GOD!
behold, thou hast made the heaven and
the earth
by thy great power and stretched out arm,
and there is nothing too hard for thee:
{18} Thou showest lovingkindness unto thousands,
and recompensest the iniquity of the fathers
into the bosom of their children
after them:
the Great, the Mighty God, the LORD of
hosts, is his name,
{19} Great in counsel, and mighty
in work:
for thine eyes are open upon all the ways
of the sons of men:
to give every one according to his ways,
and according to the fruit of his doings:
Rev 15:3-4 (KJV)
And they sing the song of Moses the servant
of God,
and the song of the Lamb, saying,
Great and marvellous are thy works, Lord
God Almighty;
just and true are thy ways, thou King
of saints.
{4} Who shall not fear thee, O Lord, and
glorify thy name?
for thou only art holy:
for all nations shall come and worship
before thee;
for thy judgments are made manifest
