Keep Your Eyes on the Prize
Phil 3:7-14 (KJV)
But what things were gain to me,
those I counted loss for Christ.
{8} Yea doubtless, and I count all
things but loss
for the excellency of the knowledge of
Christ Jesus my Lord:
for whom I have suffered the loss of all
things,
and do count them but dung,
that I may win Christ, {9} And be found
in him,
not having mine own righteousness, which
is of the law,
but that which is through the faith
of Christ,
the righteousness which is of God by faith:
{10} That I may know him,
and the power of his resurrection, and
the fellowship of his sufferings,
being made conformable unto his death;
{11} If by any means I might attain unto
the resurrection of the dead.
{12} Not as though I had already
attained, either were already perfect:
but I follow after,
if that I may apprehend that for which
also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus.
{13} Brethren, I count not myself
to have apprehended:
but this one thing I do,
forgetting those things which are
behind,
and reaching forth unto those things which
are before,
{14} I press toward the mark
for the prize of the high calling of God
in Christ Jesus.
2 Cor 4:14-18 (KJV)
Knowing that he which raised up
the Lord Jesus
shall raise up us also by Jesus,
and shall present us with you.
{15} For all things are for your sakes,
that the abundant grace
might through the thanksgiving of many
redound to the glory of God.
{16} For which cause we faint not;
but though our outward man perish,
yet the inward man is renewed day by day.
{17} For our light affliction, which is
but for a moment,
worketh for us a far more exceeding and
eternal weight of glory;
{18} While we look not at the things which
are seen,
but at the things which are not seen:
for the things which are seen are temporal;
but the things which are not seen are
eternal.
{5:1-2} For we know that if our earthly
house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God,
an house not made with hands, eternal
in the heavens.
{2} For in this we groan,
earnestly desiring to be clothed upon
with our house which is from heaven:
2 Tim 4:7-8 (KJV)
I have fought a good fight, I have
finished my course, I have kept the faith:
{8} Henceforth there is laid up for me
a crown of righteousness,
which the Lord, the righteous judge,
shall give me at that day:
and not to me only,
but unto all them also that love his appearing.
Rev 3:20-22 (KJV)
Behold, I stand at the door, and
knock:
if any man hear my voice, and open the
door,
I will come in to him, and will
sup with him, and he with me.
{21} To him that overcometh will I grant
to sit with me in my throne,
even as I also overcame,
and am set down with my Father in his
throne.
{22} He that hath an ear, let him hear
what the Spirit saith unto the churches.
