Superbook!
Superbook is the classic Japanese animation (anime) cartoon series about two children, Chris and Joy, who discover a magical "super-book" that sends them back in time to witness actual Bible happenings. Produced by Tatsunoko Studios (Gatchaman/G-Force, Macross/Robotech), the show was an instant hit when it first aired in Japan in 1981. Since then it has been translated into 25 languages and shown in 70 countries!
SUPERBOOK IS BACK ON VIDEO!
In 2002 Superbook home videos were repackaged into Superbook Value Packs. These come with two tapes in each pack and 3 episodes on each tape. With four sets of 6 episodes each, there are now 24 episodes availible to own! They seem to be a random mix of episodes from both seasons, but all use the season two opening credits. Hmm. Hopefully we will see all 52 episodes (26 from each season) of superbook and all 52 episodes of Flying House (Superbook's &334sister-series") released on a future edition. In the meantime you can watch Flying House on the TBN (Trinity Broadcasting Network) cable channel if your cable provider has TBN.

Only about half of the 52 total episodes of Superbook that were produced for TV are available in this set. Each Volume includes 6 episodes. So far there are 4 Vol. with episodes from the 1st and 2nd season (Superbook and The New Superbook) in no particular order.
Only a few episodes of The Flying House were ever released on video in the US. They are now out of print. Older video release editions of SB and FH can sometimes be found on Amazon.com or eBay.com. If you would like to track them down, here are the ISBN's.

The only source I know for complete sets of both shows (104 episodes in all) is the Spanish language editions available at visionvideo.com. You will need to search their site for Superlibro and La Casa Voladora.
NEW SB/FH WEB SITE ON THE WAY!
I have dug up lots of information about SB/FH and more is on the way. I've got plans to launch a whole new fan site dedicated to Superbook with sections on Flying House, the Roadshow and lots more!
