So...who are these guys???

EN ESCH
One of the founding members of KMFDM, En Esch is known for his deep and profoundly scary growling vocals. En Esch (whose real name is Nick) joined KMFDM early on in the eighties. If you watch the Beat by Beat video carefully during More and Faster, you can see a very young En Esch with hair! BROWN hair. En Esch has also done some work with Pigface, did drums on SMG's Torture Technique and had a solo project called Cheesy. Aside from his vocals, which for KMFDM were usually in german, he also did percussion and slide guitar. For Slick Idiot he is the voice and the frontman. I surmise he does the lyrics as well, from the look of it. While being probably the scariest of all the KMFDM members, he is a fascinating performer with a very...active tongue. He was known back in his KMFDM days for throwing himself into the crowd. Apparently he is quite the fan of vodka as well. With his imposing height and piercing blue eyes, he is a formidable man - although I have read in several places that he is rather friendly in fact. I'm still scared to get too close, nonetheless.
GUENTER
Guenter remains the most mysterious of all the KMFDM members, being the most quiet and shy. Perhaps that's because he lets the guitar do most of the talking. From what I've read he can also play the trumpet, and he's studied classical guitar . He joined KMFDM in 1988, and at first was known by the name Svetlana Ambrosius /Svet Am. (there's got to be a story behind that!) Guenter was one of the core members up until he and En Esch split to pursue their own path in 99. Something of which I was not aware was his taste for photography, as he toted his camera to every show when KMFDM was touring and captured everyone who crossed his path. He was still at it on Slick's first tour, so we can expect more photos to surface soon I imagine. Guenter 's guitars also appear on PIG's Wrecked album, and in Excessive Force (As King Gruntner). He has also been working with Cleo Recs and doing remixes for various bands. He also appeared on Cleo's KMFDM tribute, doing Light - which features what is probably his most recognized guitar riff - as well as his own vocals. He was always my fav of all the KMFDM guys. :)
