June 13, 2000 Jason, I miss you so much already. I hope that you are in a much better place than I can ever imagine. You are a dear friend to me and always will be no matter what. I love you and won't forget you. Johnne Tyson

June 20, 2000I have added a tribute page to my own web site, containing 2 poems along
with the introductory remarks I am making at a reading-aloud series
tonight at PULSE theatre.

For now, I displaced the section called "words" since I didn't have time
to make it a sub-section. So WORDS is now simply the Jason tribute.

p.s: I would like to send copies of the 2nd poem to music teachers who
remember him, can you suggest any?
June 24, 2000Jason-I can't even begin to tell you what you meant to me. You were the
funniest person I knew. I thank God for the time we were able to spend
together. You are so dear to me. I would give anything to see you smile
again or to hear you laugh one more time. I never fully grasped how
much you meant to me as a friend until you were gone. I guess you never know what you have until you lose it. You are in my thoughts and prayers and I will never forget you. I hope you knew how much you meant to me and how thankful I was that you were my friend. You were so loved by so many. You were a gift and I will forever be thankful for you. I know we will all see
each other again some day but it hurts to to know that it may be a while. I hope where ever you are, you are happy, and you know that you will never be forgotten and you are loved. I'll see you some day, I promise.

Jason, your legacy lives on. I officiated a Jewish wedding last month wearing your old yarmulke. It was rediculous and sublime. You would have been proud. Or laughed. Probably the second one. A lot. I can almost hear you laughing now...
