Not long ago the main consumer of time for me was University. I studyed and reached a
career in Primary Education. I graduated from my B.Teaching at the end of 2000 and then
graduated from the fourth year, Bachelor of Education in 2001 with Distinction.
Children are a challenge I love to take on, and learning how to do that and teach
at same time is so much fun.
Beginning 2003 I took on a position to teach Year 3 closer to home. It has been absolutely amazing. I am having a wonderful time teaching Year 3. It didn't take long to adjust to the new school, new routines, and new fun things that are constantly happening. Teachers today are so AMAZING. I see the work they do everyday and I see the smiles it brings to the faces of the children. Without teachers, society wouldn't have a backbone. Thankyou to all teachers who love their job, love the children they work with and dedicate so much time to those little people who are our future. Continue to teach the curriculum but never give up on those age old lessons about patience, endurance, adaptability, manners, attitudes and most importantly... morals and values.

In Sept
2001 while finishing my B.Ed, I was offered a full time teaching position to start in 2002 at
an Independent Christian School.
I spent a year there on a composite 4/5 class and had the challenge of my life while teaching those children in my first year out of University.
The school and staff were just amazing and so began my teaching career.
Occupying my time also
is my commitment to church. I am apart of one the church's Sunday evening service bands
as a vocalist (and occassionally play piano).
On top of this band there is a new band just put together called 'Humble Pie'. We hope to be in action for the last half of 2004. We play every 6 or 7 weeks at one of the evening services
and our aim is to introduce new music and work on extending the musicianship of the members from the 2 other bands as well as the skills
in harmony our vocalists can work on.
